MVP 2.0 Authenticity

Bought a MVP 2.0 from my local B&M last week, finally got around to scratching the code to verify authenticity and it came back unrecognized. Is this definitely a fake, or can there be problems with verifying codes in the Innoken web site? How should I proceed?

Make sure you Click on ENTER after you type, it'll reject your number if you hit ENTER on your keyboard, like I did

Pretty sure there are no clones of innokin products.
