MVP 2 and Pro Tank 2 in the mail.....what voltage is recommended for this combination ?

I have a MVP 2 and Pro tank 2 coming in the mail.....what voltage is recommended for this combination ? I do not want to blow the coils, not sure what size Coils it comes with but I have many 2.5 ohm from my Mini Pro tank 2.

I have never used a Mod, but hopefully I won't have to charge the stupid battery like I have been doing it has actually limited me from going and doing things because I do not want to have a dead battery when I am out .....been there...done that...and it sucks..

I Vape 24mg Nic with 100 % VG and a tad bit of water....no flavoring....the hard stuff !

Might as well blow past the common misconception that you adjust both volts and watts. It's pretty simple really.

Use a voltage chart as a starting point (or the good old (Ω + 2) for volts) and note the wattage where the volts and resistance intersect... or use a wattage chart (same sort of chart - just reads a bit different) to arive at the same starting point.

Too much power and things start to taste burnt, to little and things... don't taste like much at all. With a typical 2.0Ω atty, most will tell you they like to run at 7-9 watts.

In the article when it states Volts2 / Resistance (in ohms) = Watts do they mean the current voltage of your battery? Say I push both buttons on my MVP and it says 3.9V with a 2.5Ohm coil would it be 3.9Vx3.9V / 2.5 (in ohms) = 6.084W?

I have a MVP 2.0 w/ iClear 30 and some various ProTanks on the way as well. VW seems pretty slick. For my current eGo setup I am running an approximate 5.25 watts. This is saying my battery output is spot on and that the coils perform at their rated resistance. In VW, what would you consider a good starting point? 5, 5.5, 6? What do most use as a starting point with 100% VG and with 50/50?

To de-clutter:

Start at your lowest available voltage/wattage and only increase from there until you get the flavor and vapor you are looking for. Do not over think this - it isn't necessary.

Starting at too high a voltage because a chart suggests that's a good idea for some reason can result in burning crud onto a Kanger coil almost immediately, rendering it nasty and useless until you clean it. You can't "un-burnt" stuff by dropping the voltage back down after-the-fact.

Start as low as possible, move up from there.

I have an MVP 2 and a Protank 2. I personally vape at 7.5 or 8 watts on kanger heads of any Ω.
Been working just great for me.

With a variable wattage device it doesn't matter what the current voltage of the battery is. If you have it set to run by wattage, the device will boost the voltage above the battery's current voltage if necessary to achieve the selected wattage based on it's reading of the resistance of your atomizer. Once you find your sweet spot, set it and forget it. The device will deliver a consistent wattage through the range of your battery's state of charge from 4.2 down to 3.4 volts.

Start low on wattage and work your way up. I personally use 7w with iclear 30 2.1 ohm heads and 7.5 with protank 2.2 ohm heads. But i like long slow draws with deep flavor and vapor. I dont have any luck over 8w.

I run in the 6.5 - 7.5 watt range, usually right at 7. I've never had good results on my various Kanger tanks at 8 or above with my MVP or my vv v.3.
