I have had mvp about 2 months and it just started doing this yesterday...... Hope somebody can help

have you cleaned the threads with a qtip and some isopropyl alcohol recently? Sometimes its gets all gunky/gritty in the connection and that makes a problem. I have never seen an MVP have a 510 connection that got to high, you should be able to gently push it down a mm or 2 its a floating pin - but the well is so deep, I would think gunky/gritty threading that needs a cleaning to be more likely...let us know :)

I just cleaned the threads real good and it was pretty gunky but still cant get tanks on and they were working fine before my nautilus I have to push down and turn at the same time and my davide doesn't thread at all it just spins....I put a kayfun 3.1 clone on it the other day could that have done something to it ? How do you push the center post down ? thanks for your help

Did you check to see if you need to adjust the post on the kayfun? The kayfun has a adjustable post. You might need to adjust it for whatever reason. The bottom pin or post on the kayfun can be adjusted with a flat head screw driver. You might need to tighten it up more so in that case you would tighten the post where it moved closer to the tank. Having a adjustable pin like it does there should be no reason you can't adjust it to fit. Maybe for whatever reason the pin got moved. You should with a few adjustments on the kayfun get her fitting again. Hope this helps.

It sounds like you cross threaded your connection. The only plausible fix is to get a 510/eGo adapter and *if* you can get it to catch and thread you put it on and leave it. You would then screw your tanks on and off of that (carefully as not to cross thread that too)

510 Battery to eGo Atomizer Adapter

If you have a local B&M they should be likely to have them as well - around 2-3 bucks

it will not thread at all same with the clone too and it worked fine yesterday, what does cross thread mean ?

Cross threading means that when you screw something in the threads are not properly aligned and they go over each other. Cross threading can damage threads and cause things to not properly mount together. A close inspection of the threads on your MVP should show wether or not they are damaged.

sounds like you cross threaded the MVP if it works on your kids. In other words you may have damaged the threading where you screw the tank on. If that is infact the case you may be out of luck. Or you maybeable to salvage it with a tap/die set and use it to gently fix the threads.

The tanks should just screw right on no prob. If they take force I bet you cross threaded it.

Can you take pics of the part the tanks screw in to/on as in pics from all angles so we can kinda see if that is the case?

Did you get a tank on crooked right before this became an all the time issue? Is it *only* the 510 (inner threads) or *only* the Ego (outside threads) that are experiencing the problem?

You should never use any force to push down and you should not ever really crank tanks down tight. Turn them gently until they catch - barely snug.
