a little late to help the OP but for everyone else, you really should consider a 510 to EGO adapter

Curious why one would use this? I basically need two "female" ends. One to go over the putter threads of the MVP and the other end I could screw my kayfun into. Seems like a giant need for these reading around on the web.

Thanks Travis. Trying to wrap my head around how to turn a stripped inner MVP 2 thread into one that will fit my Kanfun.

No problem Pelly. I grew up in a DIY household. If Sears didn't have it. My Dad could make it.

I have a 1/4" tap that "almost fits". Im going to get a 7mm tap tomorrow. Might even make the trip to Edgwater and pick up those adaptors in person.
