MVP 2 inaccurate Ohm meter or coils change resistance during the day?

Hey,

Just wondering if any other MVP2 users find their MVP2 to have a rather inaccurate Ohm meter at times. There are times that I put on one of my tanks that has a 2.0 Ohm coil and it will immediately read something like 1.8 and then later that day I'll check the Ohm's again and now it will read something like 2.2 Ohm Then I might check it again later that night and it might read 1.9 or 2.4 or anything in between.

Wondering if there is something I don't know about coils that causes the resistance to change during the day or if the MVP2 is just known for having a not very accurate Ohm meter in them.

coils can change from time to time + or - .2ohm on store bought coils and even more on some crappy ones it may just be build up on the coils which if you take a few long drags you might notice the resistance to go back down where it was before i have more consistent coils on my rba but it too can vari +or - .1ohm

Mine changes with a Nautilus mini from 1.9 to 2.0 a lot. Does the same with my Evod tanks on there as well. You could check it with a new unused coil with no liquid in a tank and check it for a few days to see if you get big swings.

I do not have an MVP but had changes in resistance similar to yours and found there was a loose wire inside. After tightening down a screw, it is +/-. 1 ohm and works much more consistently.

the resistance changes due to expansion/contraction of the leads at the connect points... replaceable coil/wick units ( like in evod,kangers) are notorious for changing resistance. RDA/RBA/RTA's can exhibit the same issue but a quick retightening of the screws solves the problem....
