MVP 2 or VW knowledge required for beginner.

As luck would have it just joined and I've come across a problem I need advice on.

Firstly I'm using the MVP 2.0 right at this moment with a Kanger Ts3 clearomiser. I've just found with hangseng peanut butter liquid that even on the lowest 6.0 wattage the liquid has a burnt taste to it.

Any advice on what I've done wrong?

Hello.
Try setting the vv instead of the VW. see it that helps. also make sure the tank is full and that the wicking is saturated. What percentage of pg/vg is in the pb juice?

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.

The tank is newly filled, VV has been set to its lowest still with that horrible taste.

Pg/vg is at 50/50

6.0 watts is very low. How old is the TS3 coil and what pg/vg is the liquid? Sounds like a coil needs to be cleaned or its a thick liquid and its not wicking.

Have you used any other flavors with the Kanger T3's?

It would be interesting to see if other flavors have the same results. I tried a couple of T3's several months ago and got the same results as you no matter what flavors I used. I don't know if I had a bad batch or what, but they were unusable.

I've tried Vision Vivi Nova's, Kanger Evod & Protanks, and Innokin iClear 16 & 30 clearomizers within the last few months. THe Innokin and Kangers were better IMO, with the iClear 30 being the clear winner by a moderate margin. Better flavor and vapor (probably due to the dual coils and 16 wicks). These were tested on my MVP 1.0.

Yuk, I hate that burnt taste, so I feel for you. Like others have said, I've only had good luck with the Kangers, but I have an iClear 30 I haven't tried yet. Baditude has raised my interest to try it. For me, the Protanks have been the most user adjustable IMO. If I have a thick juice, remove flavor wicks, etc.

Early on, the protank heads all suffered from a rubbery taste. It could just be me but lately it seems like Kanger has their act together because the last 4-5 heads I've had have been perfect and have lasted forever. Also, I was using 2.2ohm heads, last time I ordered 1.8ohm and they are much better and vape perfectly at 8w. (7w for 2.2 ohm head).

Love how quick it is to get advice from the experienced here!.

The TS3 coil is about a week old,pg/vg is 50/50, the liquid in fairness does seem to be thickest of a few I've tried.

Other flavours do give the same burnt result but they do taste amazing with the iclear 30!

So I've come to the conclusion that I either need another iclear 30 or maybe try something new.
