mvp thread stripped

the inside thread is stripped must be the kayfun as another guy with a kayfun had same problem on his mvp ive been so careful not to overtightened but after a couple of weeks threads gone the kayfun is fine just wondering if there is a adapter i can fit on the outside thread ive ordered a vtr i thought with the cone at least if it happens again it will damage that instead of a mod

That sucks. Maybe try a 510 adapter? My plastic kayfun tank recently stripped, probably from taking a few falls...I wound up using some teflon tape on the threads and it screws back on tight with no stripping.

Maybe try some teflon tape on your kayfun screw until you can try a 510 adapter?

*additional note* Depending on how bad it's stripped, you might need a lot of tape. This should get the tolerances back to where it was and tighten things back up.

thanks for the advice just modded a iclear 16b with a evod coil wicked with cotton wool vtr should be here tomorrow at least its a excuse to buy something shiny
