Will this be your daily carry or just something to tinker with? I have both and they both have their strong and weak points.

MVP is more portable, lasts longer between charges, has a micro usb charge port. I have had it lower ohms than the 1.2 ohm limited Vamo.

Vamo looks like a lightning rod in 18650 mode with a tank like the Mega, you need a battery and charger for it, but it does hit better @ 15 watts, at least on my Mega, Tobh, and Magma.

Just got my first Mech Mod (Nemesis) and I can honestly say that I could roll with it and the MVP v2 and leave the Vamo behind. MVP for the tanks, Nemesis for the drippers.

The vamo uses pluse width modulation at a low frequency (33hz). The mvp uses essentially the same technology but at a much higher frequency.

Many say the mvp provides a better vape. I don't notice much of a difference but find the mvp form factor to be better than the vamo.

On the plus side for the vamo is price (if you don't already have batteries and a charger figure on that expense also). A new vamo can be found for $20 now. Not bad for what it is.

The mvp is pretty much an ideal first mod. The vamo is not particularly great anymore. Regulated Devices have come a long way in a short time.

Using standard clearomisers tanks, you will not need the vamo's 15 watts. The mvp's 11w suits most just fine.

If you want the best of both worlds get a vtr, 15w and just a little bigger than the MVP. I don't have a MVP but I've got a vamo and vtr, the vamo is my around the house mod and the vtr goes out with me. You would need 18650 batteries and a charger, but once you start buying more mods you'll need them anyways. I'm a chain vapor and a cheap efest 2000 mah last me 12 hrs in my vtr. What I like most about the vtr is the recessed tank. Mine will also fire a .6ohm coil too.
Good luck on which ever you choose just as long as it keeps you from analogs.
