I never vape at 3 watts for that reason. Once is enough!
Yeah, but sometimes I seem to hit it 2 or more times. And somehow it seems to end up at 15 watts! (Ugh!)

Since that time I've been vaping using RMS and vape at 7 watts or so. The choice between RMS and mean is one of the best features of the Vamo V5, in my opinion.

Maybe I shoulda mentioned that the two CE4 atomizers it came with are complete crap, again, in my opinion. :)

bwahahaha +1 on the hitting buttons...I do that on my TECs. I vape between 3.3 and 3.8 volts and carry it in my shirt pocket at work, sometimes forget to turn it off...go to vape and nasty burnt taste   it's up to 6 volts

and yes...always try to get glass or metal tanks so that there's no issues with possible tank cracking juices, plus easier to clean as plastic can absorb flavors....

I've had a little time to further check out the features of my Vamo V5.

First, fully charged, stacked 16350s indicate a voltage of 8.2. Another Vamo V5 owned by a vape store manager will never indicate more than 6 volts.

Second, and I haven't returned to that store to compare, by holding the right button down, without an atomizer attached will indicate 9.9 ohms (expected) but continuing to hold down that button reveals an icon in the shape of a battery. Releasing the button then reveals an option: Mobile OUT ON or OFF, depending on the option selected.

I saw that same indication on a video review of the E-Huge that appears to have the Vamo chip installed. That option is used for charging the 26650 battery that comes with the E-Huge kit using a male 510 to USB adapter for battery charging with the battery inside the E-Huge.

I'm going to assume that with this adapter I could also charge my Vamo this way but I'm not going to test that as I have better means of charging batteries and I really don't want to risk frying the Vamo electronics. (my explanation of this is confusing me)

So, do I have a Vamo V5.1?

I have set two people up with these, my wife, and one of my Brothers from the Corps, the wife uses an Aerotank on hers and thus far likes it better than her previous set ups, and my Brother is set up with a PT2 and a mini Genny type atomizer, and he loves it. The menu on the device is simple to figure out, and if your a tank Atty lover this is a great mod for making those PT2 and Aerotanks get up and dance:)

makes you wonder ;) it says it's a preorder.....so how long is the wait for the preorder and how much is shipping and handling....
at that price seems to be about par with ft if you got the stainless steel vamo v5 and battery....

I don't see anything about preorder. Says in stock.

still waiting on mine from fastech, seriously wished i had seen this one first,

I originally ordered a Vamo v5 from fasttech along with a protank 2 last Tuesday... on Saturday the protank 2 went from "in stock" to "temporarily out of stock" and the vamo v5 still hadn't shipped so I cancelled my order. Ordered the vamo v5 on Tuesday and got it today! Also, ordered the Protank 2 and only paid $6.79 more than I did on fasttech. Well worth the $52 in my opinion. Works amazingly and the taste is so much better than with my Evod VV. One thing I've noticed that never did before is the vapor is much much warmer than when i'dd use my evod on 4.2 volts. Also, is it normal for more juice consumption the higher the wattage?

Edit: Bought both items on EBay... Received the KSD Vamo and is amazing... awaiting the protank (hoping its authentic... says it has the scratch off... I know its not authentic if it has the black o-ring on the drip tip but hope it's authentic!)
