I've had a little time to further check out the features of my Vamo V5.
First, fully charged, stacked 16350s indicate a voltage of 8.2. Another Vamo V5 owned by a vape store manager will never indicate more than 6 volts.
Second, and I haven't returned to that store to compare, by holding the right button down, without an atomizer attached will indicate 9.9 ohms (expected) but continuing to hold down that button reveals an icon in the shape of a battery. Releasing the button then reveals an option: Mobile OUT ON or OFF, depending on the option selected.
I saw that same indication on a video review of the E-Huge that appears to have the Vamo chip installed. That option is used for charging the 26650 battery that comes with the E-Huge kit using a male 510 to USB adapter for battery charging with the battery inside the E-Huge.
I'm going to assume that with this adapter I could also charge my Vamo this way but I'm not going to test that as I have better means of charging batteries and I really don't want to risk frying the Vamo electronics. (my explanation of this is confusing me)
So, do I have a Vamo V5.1?
