I am considering an mvp v2 or a mvp vtr to add to my stable. I am currently using a full mech mod omega v1 clone with some vision spinners for emergency use. I like the look and heft to the cool fire 2 but i feel it may be lacking on the features side. For the vast majority of my vaping I am using a protank 2 with coils I am rebuilding myself (I am a little inconsistent on my builds so far but keeping them between .8-1.5 depending on the day). I have seen quite a few people say that once you have a decent mech that the mvp/vtr is not something you would really go back to. Also what is the diff between the mvp2 and the mvp2 energy, just a wrap?

I have a VTR & love it, It has a protective ring the Replaceable battery is definitely a bonus as well so you don't get caught out,
It is a little heavy but personally like that about it -
it gives it a solid more quality feel plus I can use it for self defense if I needed too

It depends on what you need or want.

Either the MVP V2 or the VV V3 will give you the same vape experience - same electronics. Both can be used while charging as a passthrough device so if this is going of be only an occasional use thing you don't have to be overly concerned about maintaining a charge - just plug it in and use it. Some people do like and use the bonus feature of the MVP being able to charge a cell phone on the fly. If you want something Spinner size - VV V3. If you want the two day run time between charges - MVP.

Only down side: Neither has a replaceable battery. Considering the number of charge cycles, it's expected an MVP will last at least two years before anyone will be facing that problem. Chances are you will either be bored to death with it or break it long before the battery replacement issue comes into play.

If you are primarily using PT's and, admittedly, your coil builds aren't all that consistent then a VV/VW PV would make more sense to me than a mech. Wide swings in ohms means varied experiences with a mech that you can't compensate for. At least with the likes of an MVP you can adjust the wattage to your coil resistance as needed. Down side? An electronic APV won't fire much of anything below 1.2 ohms to prevent damage to the APV from happening.

While the vtr is a solid performer, I sold mine after a week because it hurt my hands and was just to heavy and I absolutely hate fingerprints. heehee The mvp2 is lighter and lasts longer than the vtr did. I am getting 1100 toots on one battery charge. Very dependable IMO and every topper you put on it works beautifully. Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0 For that price, you would not be disappointed. The only reason I know about that one is because I am thinking of getting another one. Good luck to you.

I've been getting two full days on my VTR this week, vaping low resistance at ~13 watts. I probably could have gotten through most of this morning on the same battery, but decided to pop in a freshie and charge it anyway. The 18650's in the VTR last a long time when I can't chain vape.

If you are making coils at .08-.1.3 or so go mechanical with an 18650 battery. Will hit like a freight train.

I have got a mech with an 18650, right now its my adv my spinners are only for if i happen to leave my 2nd battery at work/home and the one in my mod happens to die. I used spinners solely for about 4 months and had no issues with them. I'm not a cloud chaser, mainly interested in flavor and not having to choke someone out because I want a cigarette
