If you use a Kick then I would think so. In theory most mechanical
mod users tend to swap
batteries when the charge gets to around 3.7volts when not using a Kick because the
vape quality tends to decline around that area. The MVP regulates the vape just like the kick does down to a certain charge left in the battery.
1.
Red LED light = battery voltage is lower than 3.61V
2.
Yellow LED light = battery voltage between 3.61V and 3.75V
3.
Green LED light = battery voltage is more than 3.75 V
4.
Red LED will keep blinking for 8 seconds when battery capacity is lower than 3.3V and the device will turn off automatically.
So essentially it will regulate down to about 3.3v left on the battery. The kick regulates down to around 3.2v if I am not mistaken so I do believe that if all the variables are the same (watts, coil resistance, and amp draw) then they would perform very similarly. The thing with most mech mod users is that they tend to build lower ohm coils which has more amps drawn from the battery which in turn leads to a shorter battery life in between the time they take the battery off the charger and place it back on.
