MVP2.0 wont charge? Think It's dead

I bought 2 on 01/12/14. Last night my wife's just stop working. Mine is working fine.

When you hit the button it blinks red 8 times. I put it on the charger all day and nothing. It shows no lights on the button when plugged in. The display will work when pressed saying 3.5. I press the button and still get the 8 red blinks, then nothing. I know it is not the charger because mine works properly when I plugged it in.

Is this thing dead?

Damned. Mine is lent out right now. Does it sound like you are getting an error code 3.5?

Did you try different chargers? Etc.

Thanks for the info...Yes tried my MVP2 charger and tried plugging in thru computer

I just noticed a burnt ozone smell from the ports. I think something way have fried

I love my MVP and now the Mrs is hinting at stealing MINE!! LOL

Contact the vendor tonight via email. Make sure they know it is broken.

Hopefully you have backups.

If you give the wife your MVP, then obviously you will need to upgrade. It only sounds bad until you think about it. Upgrading is good expecially if your wife asks you to.
