Hi all,

So I've been vaping for a couple of weeks (after a 4 year break!) the VV V3. I paired it with Aspire BDC Minis straight away and have been blown away by many aspects, such as: amount of vapour, flavour, and absolute lack of leaks from the BDC Mini. Overall a great partnership!

But, the one thing that bugged me was the poor battery life of the 800mah V3. So rather than get another V3, I opted today to buy an MVP2 as I was really looking forward to the super long battery life, and it had all the features I was after, plus it's an Innokin and after all, I had no reason to change brands so far. Great reviews too.

So here's my problem.. With the MVP2, I got an iClear30 tank. All day today I've had issues. The iClear30 constantly gurgles and splutters when taking a hit. I've had mouthfuls of juice multiple times. I get a huge throat hit which is really unpleasant with virtually no vapour, and no flavour. What am I doing wrong?

To compare, I put the iClear30 on my V3, and despite it being top heavy, the iClear30 seems to be working great. Good vapour, decent flavour, no gurgling or spluttering, and thankfully no inadvertent ejuice drinking! From what I can tell so far, the iClear30 isn't as good as my Aspire BDC mini, but it will suffice.

Why does the iClear30 work on my V3 and not my MVP2?

Any help really appreciated.
Thanks
Steve.

Hi Brend. I reckon you're right. After using it on the V3 for a while, and running it down to 1.5ml, I've stuck it back on the MVP and it's working right :D I must have overfilled :(

Looking forward to getting myself a Nautilus for the MVP, looks like it's got fantastic reviews.

Thanks for the help guys!

Awesome!!! Your MPV2 is my husband set up & he has a couple cartomizer tanks for it too. He's using the i30
right now & he really likes it & likes the tip too.

Just incase you don't have it or have any more problems http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ussion/473345-itaste-mvp-v2-owners-group.html

You have 8 posts now so that forum is open to your posting :)

Enjoy your supper dupper new setup. (I've got to get one of those for myself)

Wow, awesome feedback guys and thanks for the link!
I only have 1 more, kind of silly, question!...
I carry my ecigs in my pocket with the tank unscrewed and separated from the battery. I've had no leakage from my BDC Minis.....but my question is, is this the norm for most people? That you carry the ecig and tanks in a pocket detached when not in use and never get leakage? Last thing I want is a pocket full of juice :)

Off to check out the owners group now too :)

Funny you should ask that - definitely ask that in owners group - huge pool of users that can say what they do.

Husband had a flanged cartomizer tank on it and put it in suit jacket, bent it a bit where the cartomizers flange &
tube meet - juice all over ( he thought he broke it :) ) Just needed a new cartomizer in the tank but the wool jacket
was a different story.

I might worry about wearing out the threads.

As an MVP2 owner you should keep this link just in case
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...59634-fixing-mvp-vv3-contact-issue-guide.html

I'm considering getting a "510 to 510 adapter" or a couple to have on hand for mvps.
It would bite if the battery was still good but the threads were toast.

I usually leave my tanks attached One note on the MVP they have had issues with the 510 threads they also have an onboard battery and it was thought to be non replaceable. I bought one and found the battery is a Lipo type and they can be very dangerous I can replace those batteries as well as the 510 connection on the MVP for folks who nee that so take my name down and PM me if you have need for that. I'm waiting on a price for the Batteries from a vender I buy from and will know the cost of those soon

510 to 510 adaptor seems like a great idea, and best bet if you just want to screw on and forget, as opposed to messing with lifting pins etc. the extra half inch wouldn't worry me too much.

Yeah, the first day I got my V3, I didn't unscrew the tank, kneeled down at work and 'snap', broken tank and juice filled pocket :D Hence unscrewing when not in use.

I got an MVP 2 recently and can say I really don't like the iClear30. Some people like it, but it's just not for me. I'm not a big fan of the tanks with the top coils and the super long wicks. I had a bad experience with the vision CE 4. It almost made me give up on vaping altogether. I prefer the airy draw of the Kanger EVODs and the Mini Kanger Protank 2. They're much easier to maintain too.

I bought 2 x mini protank 3's today, very leaky but I removed a white plastic gromit from inside and not sure if I should have!

I've heard a lot of people having problem with Kanger tanks leaking and gurgling and all of the other complaints. I have yet to experience any of those problems.

Not really played much with the Kanger tanks yet, will do so tomorrow.

But urgh! I'm seriously done with these iClear 30s!! I just topped up to just under the 3ml level, attach it to the MVP, and it leaks! Then I check everything's screwed on properly, blow through the drip tip to clear out the juice and then rest it the MVP on it's side while I wash my hands. Come back and the juice has leaked out again all down the sofa! Never ever had any leaking issues from the mini novas even when detached from the tank and upside down in pocket.

So I've binned the iClear30 after a day. Rubbish, and I've wasted more than half my 10ml bottle of juice on leaks.

Filled up my mini nova and stuck it on the MVP, more vapour, way more flavour, and so satisfyingly no leaks. Really liking these mini novas. Need to get a couple full size ones and hope they're as well put together as the minis.

Apologies to anyone who's had great success with the iClears, but after 2 weeks trouble free vaping with mini novas, I will stick with them :)
