MVP2 with a Protank issues

I have had this setup for about a month now with no problems. I recently started dripping but I like to go back to my protank once in awhile also. But since I have been doing this my protank won't fire properly most of the time. It usually works when I replace the coil but the moment I take the tank back off to fill it the protank won't register (non). And yes I have mixed up the coils and tried different ohms and boxes of coils. What is the problem, my MVP2, the protank, or do I just have lots of crappy coils.

Welcome to ECF Flash...

With use, you've pushed the MVP2 510 positive electrical contact pin down (even further than the overly deep Innokin pin is in the first place), into the 510 collar. Over-tightening should be avoided... "just touching" is all that is required.

You can:

1. Gently pry the MVP 510 positive pin up with a small screwdriver.
2. Pull the Protank 510 collet (that retains the coil tails in the coil head and is held in place by a rubber or silicone bushing) down a (very) small amount... again, with the intent of making contact with the MVP 510 pin.
3. Do both.

Already answerd what I would have said but I wanted to welcome you to ecf. I just love my mvp2 and I have always been a huge fan of ProTanks and the minis. Good luck to you and happy vaping. Look forward to reading about your journey. I don't know what I would have done without ecf and the wonderful people that i have met. Good luck to you again. :)

Thank you all for the great tips and suggestions. Prying the pin up worked. And I would also like to thank you for the warm welcome. I am impressed to get such a speedy response and great attitudes. I am looking forward to reading and sharing with you all. Two and a half months smoke free now and I can't imagine going back now that I have discovered vaping.
