I'm built at 0.8 ohms right now and its working great. I've got some extra kanthal so I'm gonna push it to see how far i can go without it burning the wic.

I rebuilt many protank heads for a couple years and I did build some low ohm coils and they just didn't work with the protank very well cause there isn't enough airflow in a protank even with a airflow adapter to keep that wick from burning or to maintain a good flow of juice to the wick while vaping subohm coils. I found 1.2 to be the minimum for protank builds to work efficiently. If your going to be building .8 coils then I would spent the bucks on a subtank rather than airflow adapters. Those protanks aren't meant to vape low ohm coils for how compact the rebuilding area and the coil will heat up the surrounding metal fast and caramelize your juice but you'll find that out on your own when your last 1/4 PT of juice darkens super fast and tastes off. Your best results is using 1.6-2.0ohm builds in protanks or step up to the subtank like attys that have airflow to handle the subohm builds.

I have an old subtank, just no coils for it. My local shop doesn't carry them so that sucks. I do miss it though.
