That is very good advice nancy.

Years ago my mother called me and after talking to her a short time I told her I had to go eat. I could tell she was disappointed but I was getting the evil eye so figured it was easier to just tell my mom I would call her back in a few days.

She died the next day in a fire. I never got to call her back. I talked to her for thirteen stinkin minutes because I had to go eat.
Sometimes I think God was giving me one last chance and I blew it.

So yeah, take the chances you have.

Similar thing happened with my dad, but I was twelve and my mom and her husband were in Seattle. My cousin was babysitting when my dad's gf called to say he wanted to see us. My cousin said to wait until my mom came back, even though I was persistent. An anuerysm was occurring unbeknownst to the medical staff (that never scanned his head after falling off of a roof) and he died that night.
I would hate for anyone not to be able to see their loved ones until it's too late.

I lost my mom when she was 52. I was 22 and my DD wasn't a year old yet.
(((hugs))) to you, sky, and all that need it.

CheriePie, you will really like that Vamo V3!
I was hesitant about the spiral looks until I got mine.
In person it is fine and is easy to hold on to.
Thanks MVS for all the prizes you give away!

:vapor:

OMG how awesome is this!! I'm actually on vacation right now (back home visiting family and friends in Boston) so I haven't been on the forum in a few days but logged on tonight to find this awesome message from MVS!! How excited am I!!!

Yes, I've been drooling over that Vamo v3 ever since it was released and almost pulled the trigger a few times--but for lack of money--because I am totally in love with the whole spiral look of this new model. I know, as much as others say they don't like it, hey I'm a girl so what can I say! LOL

So woohoo, I'm psyched that the wonderful folks at MVS can seem to read my mind and know exactly what I want, even though it's not even on my MVS wishlist yet (but only because I didn't yet see it listed on the site). :D

Much grace, love, and thanks to you all... and a special shout out to Destiny, with extra special blessings for your mom. May the rest of her time here with you be filled with all the love and special-ness that I know she holds in her heart for you and all her children... <3
