I tried my Vivi Nova which I think I would really like BUT I might have messed it up. I looked at a review on how to use it and they had cut two notches in the rubber cap. Well, mine kept giving me dry hits so I decided to try the notch thing to help with wicking. It did make a very nice difference but I notice I get a fair amount of vapor in the tube. I would rather it be my mouth. Is the vapor in the tube because I cut the notches or is that normal as the juice goes down? Thanks.

I heard about that from one member. I don't know if he cut the notches bigger.

I put a teeny tiny cotton ball next to the coil if it has the tendency to do dry hits.
Some of mine do and some don't.

I didn't think of that. So the cotton ball absorbs more liquid closer to the coil? It doesn't matter if the cotton touches the coil? Do you get vaper in the tube as the juice goes down?

Like I said, just a teeny tiny bit and the cotton holds the juice better. As long as there is juice in the tank it should stay wet. Just don't let it go dry. Dry and burnt cotton doesn't taste so good.

If you get juice in the mouth, you've used too much. It took me several tries until I made it small enough.

I have on one but the other two, I haven't had a problem with it. I don't know why the one either.
