Hi JJ,
You seem to like Superol KPO, and that was what the Samples were that I saw others getting while searching for Rolygate. Any reason you know of not to ask for any of the others?... even if they don't say Americas?
OK, Yes, I'm being Lazy, not reading up on it for myself. But if you've already done the research......

Hmmmmm... Missed your conversation with Aurora while looking. Seems like there's a lot of questions to answer, but you still think that Superol KPO is the best one?

Each country has their own standards. I think Europe is a bit better than ours (can't swear on this) but it should be okay. 
I just took the dive, wasn't sure which to choose, or if I'd just be wasting my time anyway.

I've been away asking a question (that hopefully Rolygate will answer) about Dow OPTIM and P&G Superol. I'll let you know when/if I hear something back. Wish ME luck!!!

Hey late night MVS, I found the front door open again and porch lite on, but no one was here.

So, I sent in that request, and about 5 minutes later I got an automatic out of office email from a guy, saying he wouldn't be back in for several days and it gave his cell for text or emergency and then another lady's contact info. Then several hours later I got an actual reply from a lady, asking me for more info about the project I am working on, when I expected the project to start, and what was my total annual demand for glycerin?
So, sounds like she is interested in sending me some samples, yippee!! But, that may all depends on my answers, so I'm going to try to come up with some good ones that'll hopefully be the correct ones she'd be OK with sending out samples for. If any of you guys have any ideas that you think might help please feel free to post, I'd appreciate any help I can get, thanks!
I don't plan to send in my reply until tomorrow before I head to work, so there's plenty of time for suggestions if you have any.

I did look up lotion before sending in my request, and VG is used in some, and many people make their own with it and various other oils and flower waters, so I'm thinking that might be OK, and she replied for more info so I think that's a good sign already?
Can you please tell me more about the project you are working on? - For this, I'm considering trying to explain as briefly as I can, how we want to make our own lotion/moisturizer to save a little $$ and that other branded lotions seem to have an "off" smell to them, even unscented ones. And then if we ended up making a great lotion we really liked, we might try to start sales eventually. Then, leaning towards everyone's mention of soaps I thought I'd also mention that someone in our family makes soaps and told us about trying VG as a base for our planned lotion creations, and they informed us that some companies might be able to send out a few trial samples so we could see which worked best for us.
When do you expect this project to start? - ON this one I'm not sure if I should say already, in the next few weeks, in a month, ect? I assume sooner might get me a sample sooner, but I don't want them to feel rushed and end up not sending due to that.

GREAT to hear Mogi, glad you got it working again!
Was it tough to get going, or did you get it fixed on the first try?
This kind of stuff is why I decided to wait.
Lotions and Soaps are probably both very good. Family members being sensitive to ingredients in other products could be a very good REASON for your project. You are trying to make something as PURE as possible. You can do some research on allergic reactions to Soaps and Lotions, etc., as background info for justification. Not so much for saving money, but for Health reasons.
Starting Sales eventually is a good delay tactic, I think.
When do you expect to start? Immediately!!! If you are able to make something that your family doesn't have a problem with, then you'll let friends try it, and then try to move into Sales. You KNOW it's going to be a Trial and Error thing, in all likelyhood. Say THESE reactions are the problems, and THESE ingredients are what I'm trying to avoid!!!
Total Annual Demand... would be very hard to say, tell them. Right now, you're trying to get started. Total Demand will depend on the success of any eventual products, after a trial period with family and friends. And then, of course, you'll have to get into Marketing!!!
