Yes and it was an interesting survey at that! :)

I thought the 2013 ECF Survey was great, too. Lots of good questions, and lots of the with a Comment Field, so you could Zero In on your answers, and give as much Detailed Info as you wanted. I gave a bunch.

Hello hello hello all :). Missing ECF and all you wonderful people lately. So as I previously posted, I had to take my Grandma in to the ER on Monday the 15th for a leg infection. She had a temperature of 102.2 (then they subtract .1 for the area they took it from) and what they said was mild sepsis. Turns out that the first blood sample was contaminated by the form of staph we all have on our skin and the second sample showed no blood infection so no sepsis, yay! However, on Thursday I went in to see her and in the morning she was fine but by early afternoon she was a bit delusional. The Dr checked her Gas/C02 stats to see if she was having a hard time expelling the C02 and xrayed her lungs checking for water which would indicate congestive heart failure. Both tests came back fine so he diagnosed it as retention of the IV Fluids and the resulting low oxygen levels which can cause delusions. He immediately took her off the IV Fluids, administered a Diuretic and started constant oxygen and breathing treatments every 4 hours. The next morning she was sitting up in a chair eating breakfast and didn't remember much from the previous day but she did have wild dreams about being in a dungeon and dancing mice - not she didn't have any pain meds. She is in an acute rehab now but I expect her home by Friday. It has been a very stressful, prayer filled and very scary 9 days. Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers. I hope to be back to posting more often very soon.
