I joined ECF in Nov of last year, so yeah I like to post a lot. But there is a reason for that. I love this place. It has become like a second home and full of some of THE most incredible people I have ever met. So giving, caring and understanding, not something you see in a lot of internet forums, I take that back, I have never seen it anywhere else.
I have been trying to figure out where I wanted to do my 1,000th post. Would it be in the Jay's GLV forum where I found my perfect every day PV? Would it be in the Don's Backwoods Brew forum where I have found the perfect juice for my taste buds? Would it be in the Don's Clouds of Vapor forum where I buy most of my supplies? Now if you notice, I listed the owners of all 3 of those locations, the reason I did was because I feel like I know them. I feel like more than a customer to them. That is what customer service is about and these 3 are examples for others to follow. I know there are many others on here like that but these are mine.
So instead of just making a random post in one of those threads, where I have met so many new friends and learned so much, I decided to do it here and tell a little of my story after 3 months of being here on ECF. Some of you may care, some of you may not and that is fine. For those that are willing to read this wall of text, I truly thank you for taking the time and hope it was worth it to you.
Now my journey....and I will try and be brief
I first started my Google search about e-cigs (hate that term now) after seeing a co-worker using one back in Nov last year. I found this forum and went to the live chat where several knowledgable people offered great advice. I had to have a PV that looked like a cig, well that was what I thought and I was wrong. So I bought a 510 from Vicki at Cignot, great choice and the day it arrived, Nov 16th became a special day, my first day with my PV and my last day smoking an analog.
Shortly after I found myself spending more and more time on ECF, learning about different attys, carts, cartos, juice, Mods, etc. So much to learn but loving every second of it. So I decided that I wanted something tougher as I'm a clutz and wanted a Mod that could take my foolishness. I settled on the GLV Mini. I was lucky enough to win a contest on the GG forum and won a GGTB, I was able to trade it in the classys for a GLV Mini and my vaping experience took on a whole new level, it was heavenly! It was perfect for me, tough and easy to use and felt perfect in my hand.
So now here I am 3 months after my journey began, 2300 analogs that I didn't have to smoke and not missing a damn one of them. I just want to thank everyone here on ECF for helping to extend my life just a little bit longer, I am forever grateful! I'm approaching my 50th birthday next January and hopefully many more thanks to my new addiction.
Now onto my next phase, a Phidias!!!
