Just had to post. Very easy to put together, 5V UBEC, 800mAh 7.4V 10C 2 cell LiPo on a Dean's connector, fire button from madvapes, and 510 connector from them as well. The UBEC is a 5V 3A buck that will stop working below 6v, so there is my built in LiPo cut off

About 7hrs of vaping on it now. Battery is showing 7.87 volts, still holding a consistent 5.23V (with no load) at the atty connection. I'm loving it! Perfect power for 2ohm DCCT

OK, 26hrs after putting the battery in, and it is now drained and on the charger. About 17hrs of that was use, heavy use. The UBEC worked perfect as a LiPo cut off for a 2 cell. It just quit firing, and the battery was showing 5.92 volts, and is safe down to 5.4 volts before damage occurs. Sooooooo.........
Small 2 cell LiPo for this mod= WINNING

OK, been using this "Minty Vape" for almost a week now. I have a pair of 800mAh 2S 10C LiPo's for it, both OLD batteries (like 4 or 5 years old) one Hobbie people, one E-flite. I get a 24hr day out of each one. Like clock work, every night at about 7PM the one I have in goes flat (av. reading of 5.98 volts). I pop it out, put it on the charger, pop in the other, and vape on The UBEC makes for a NICE vape, very smooth, and consistent right to the end. I'm just loving the fact that less than $20 worth of parts in a mint tin is working so good
