My first mod and my first post. I know it’s yet another box mod, but it's my first and I'm proud :) worked first time too.
Using a 2XAA battery box with slider switch to isolate power to the push-switch and a 900mAh 3.7v protected Li-ion rechargeable battery.
Been using it for last couple of months now and am very pleased with it. I only use standard batteries on the rare occasion where the appearance of a strange gadget may cause alarm.

Hi again.
codfish is right, I made that couple of months ago because I was fed up with standard batteries and since then I can't stop lookin at stuff and seeing atomizers and switches growing from said stuff! next I want to build something tubular, a torch mod maybee but I really like idea of getting a tap and die kit, pipecutter and some aluminium tubing and end caps and doing something from scratch.
Or just maybee do a 5v setup in another box and run a 510 atty in it.
thats the problem, can't stay still with one idea long enough to build it!
Supose the next sensible thing is a 5v mod to see which i prefer, 3.7 or 5, then go all out on a custom joby on something I really like.

Thanks Bubo and Codfish for the positive remarks :)

Just waiting for post office to open so I can collect my new 510 kit, ooo its like Christmas eve when your a kid!
wanted to try the 510, could have just bought a 510 atty n made a battery pack for it but there was a sale on, and it was all shiny like as it stared out at me from my PC monitor.
Soooo my next mod will be a 510 atty 5v box seeing as I got a spare box left over from my 901 mod, off to Nerf now or someone to get a couple of 510 atty connectors (always buy stuff in twos, incase I fumble or generally muck summat up!).
I'll keep you posted on the further adventures of a nooby modder.
