Is it the handle to some sort of game ? A really old game ? LOL

Close enough!! It is a vintage Atlas 1270 Slot Car Controller, circa 1960's I believe. About a year ago an elderly lady across the street needed someone to help her clean up her basement. Told me if I helped her out, I could keep whatever I wanted, because she was going to throw everything out anyway. A bunch of old toys her kids used to play with down there. Came across an old slot car set missing a bunch the track, but still looked cool. Never got around to fixing it up. The controllers sure looked sweet though:)

Clumsy...you win the old cloth covered wires than came on it...haha.

lollllllllllllll..Just my luck !

Yanno..this does give us idea's on things to use. I'm thinking those old fat box cutter handle's might work now..

ANyways...this was great fun. Fantastic job, Hawk...now, if you could find about 100 more of those babies :)

Sorry for the "double Post" if it is.

This made me realize, since I started vaping..now, if i happen to go into any antique store, or at a flea market or just rummaging thru things in the attic...i now look at everything in the perspective of, " wow, i wonder if this could be used as a mod".... haha... One track mind here...

I swear , I'm going to start saving things I find...just to send to you " handy guys".

< clumsy...get it ? I can't make anything, i'd have a flipping mess....>

So..i'll have to save the good stuff I find to send to you guys.
I'm one of those "handy" guys... should the need arise.

awesome mod! though i stumbled upon it a bit late to tell folks what it was. i have been racing slot cars for 20 years to date. i have a ton of vintage cox, parma, revell, etc...loads upon loads of stuff layin around in various boxes that i have retired from my racing fleet. you could try a cox plunger controller or I have an old MRC plunger that would work nicely though the adjustable voltage through the resistor block is a good idea.......hmmmmm maybe there is a use for an old 20 Ohm sebring controller yet.......pistol grip baby!
