its a tire valve extention , as seen in the zi moshi video. the chrome thing on the back is a tire valve cover. the body is 3/4 inch copper tube +caps

I use the tire valves and caps too. Can get them for $1.50 at a local auto parts store. The cap also makes a good 901 to rn4081 adapter.
