My 3rd PV purchase: JuiceFeed, or quality HV mod?

Hello ECF friends,

I'm a new poster, but not new to ecf since March 1. Since then I started with the 401 and a PCC to give that awesome look of a cigarette but create double takes when the tip lights up green. Then moved to the tornado, then a riva, and now I'm facing my latest dilemma,

Do I make my next pv a juice feed mod, or a quality HV mod?


I'll spend more than I ever did at once for this one, since I always bought my stuff as seperate accessories never in kits, being it was all I could afford. I'm leaning towards juice feeding as I always end up giving people bad impressions of ecigz when I hand over my pv to them to sample just when the cart is running dry, they end up coughing after a short puff and give a "oh, that does taste like that, but no more I'm fine". Are there perhaps any good arguments into why I shouldnt go for juice feed? Thanks for the info

In my opinion there is only one mod that works for a multitude of cartos and attys, drip or carts and it's the adjustable voltage Buzz from notcig. Just set the voltage level to the sweet spot and vape. It's great.

Just saw a post from the maker of the Buzz on another forum . the post was dated yesterday and he said "shipping soon". I'm guessing there's quite a wait on those and no mention of price.
My suggestion would be to go with any HV mod you like in a 510 setup and go with 510 cartomizers which hold a lot more juice. You could also go with a 901/ kr808d-1 connecter on a provape mod and use kr8 cartos. When you go out just make sure you have a handful of full cartos and you could hand somebody your PV with a fresh carto on it.

Damn! I keep thinkin' of other stuff. if you want to go with a kr808 carto you can get an adapter for a 901 fitting.

Wow, thank you for turning me onto that one. I didnt realize that controlling voltages with ease was a luxury so much desired by experienced vapers. Last night I ordered over 60 ml total of diy flavorings alone, so am probably going to want the best extraction of flavor that varrying volts can provide. Deffinately love the flexibility of the buzz, and its just about what I can afford barely.

Only now I'm sad that the concept, in conjunction with a juicefeed system isnt ready in anything currently on the market that I can place an order for this afternoon. That cignot vvpv v2 looks like everything I could ever want so far, but just not in that "student friendly" price bracket. D'oh!

It's a sweetheart for sure. I like it because I can get the best out of any cart, carto or juice and I use carto's almost exclusively. There isn't a waiting list I know of. Plus I've had cartos made by the same manufacturer that required different voltage setting because of the resistance not being the same, and I've had different liquids that require different settings to reach the sweet spot but it's just a quick easy couple turns and it's there. Good luck.
By the way I don't work for them or get a cent from their sales.

Wow, that provape is smaller than I imagined, I thought it was huge till I saw the actual finger width of a hand pictured with it! Awe, I jus wish it did the variable voltage thing now, if I'm gunna shell out a benji for a new pv, its like the new feature standard they must meet.

No waitinglist? Where exactally on the site can I order, seems to just have a notify by email submission box, and any email I enter, even a phony one brings up a "Email already in system" type of message. I have few 510 cartos hoping I could hold tons of juice, but find them to always have this papery burning wool taste to them when I fill them the way I see posted about using the siliconce covers as cups and pushing the cartos on them. And also tried yanking out the filler material and using an empty carto with sock alone, but it tasted harsh all the time. Is there a better method?

You might want to compare the Fistpack to the Buzz. The Fistpack allows you to switch voltages with a flick of your thumb. 4.3, 4.5, 4.8 and 5v. You don't need less than 4.3v and many people find 5v more than enough. Other advantages are that you can choose what atty connector you like so you don't need to use adapters and the USB charged 18650 battery lasts for days! It's not cheap but as I've stated before, spending $100 for a PV that ends up unused is a bigger waste of money. I've owned many mods but nothing comes close to the Fistpack.

Sounds like a waiting list to me.
Here's another choice from ecigmods.com. It's the vapezilla, a 3.7V/5V adjustable box mod and if I remember it right from the last time I saw a pic, it's a juicer. I just went to the site and it seems that the pictures aren't loading. They have a new site and it seems to have some bugs still.
Might be just what you're looking for though.

You could try your hand at making your own juice-fed box. In terms of cost, it's one of the least expensive ways to go. Might take you a few tries to get it working, but you can get almost all the parts from a place like MadVapes for around $50 (boxes, switches, batteries, charger, LED's, atty connectors).

A DIY unit will probably be my next device.

Howdy basilray, I've made a few mods and I gotta tell ya, sticking together a simple 3.7V box mod is a little different than making a variable voltage juice box. I haven't tried it yet but I'm a little intimidated by the prospect. That's why I'm just making pipe mods that will take 3.7 or 6volt battery configurations and just trying to make them look good. Much simpler.
