I ordered a Titan 510 from Totally Wicked last weekend. My iPhone just beeped at me to tell me I got an email, and it was from the Post Office letting me know that my package was delivered at 1:22pm today.

Now I'm counting the minutes until 6:00pm so I can get the heck out of this office and head home to unbox and charge the thing so I can start using it.

I'm just curious...I've applied the Shredded PTB and Straw mods to my RN4081 and it works quite well now. I'm wondering if I'll still notice a big difference between it and my new 510...

Anyway...HAPPY DANCE.

Okay, so it did arrive as the Post Office said it did. So I ripped that package open with excitement--only to find they had shipped me the wrong product. I did get my 510, but with only one battery and without the charging unit to charge it with.

So I sent them an email and called to leave a message on their 888 number. Hopefully I'll hear back from them soon.

 [sniffles, sobs] :(

I also had a BluCigs starter kit on order I forgot to cancel, and apparently it shipped out this morning. It should arrive in the next several days. So I'll have at least two devices to hold me over until my 510 issues get sorted out.

As much bad stuff as I've heard on these forums about Blu, I'm still intrigued by them, and am actually excited to know it's on its way. I think that'll be my "nite out at the bar" e-cig de jour. Maybe. We'll have to see.

Still, I want my darned 510 up and running...

Stop and get some Lypton Pyramid Tea Bags- and learn to use them as cart filler. The OEM cart filler is the most annoying thing when you start vaping- Watch Moobyghost's video about it. You'll be a mile ahead of the other new vapers, day 1.

I already have. Got my PTBs two days ago, and spent yesterday perfecting them in my NJoy NPro (RN4081) carts (though it's really hard because the carts (or at least the part where the filler is loaded) are so frackin' small, and deeply recessed). Makes all the difference in the world. I used the "shredded" method, and it really works for me.

Okay, so I forgot the blasted PCC I ordered with my unit would charge the bloody battery. So I did that and gave it a shot with one of the "Tobacco - High" carts it shipped with.

This is my assessment:

Unbelievable vapor! I mean, just incredible.

Very little throat hit. I have to assume that this is due to the e-liquid this thing ships with. I think I've spoiled myself on "Taboo" from LiquidXpress, which tastes phenomenal and had an excellent throat hit. Might also have something to do with the fact I used the PTB and Straw mods on my NPro carts, which I have not done to this thing yet.

Flavor of the standard "Tobacco" flavoring isn't bad. Much better than the "Regular" flavor of the shipping carts from NPro. Still, seems weak (which could be from the liquid itself, or from the lack of the above-mentioned mods), and has a salty aftertaste.

Aesthetics are good. It is slightly longer than my NPro, but a tad thinner, and seemingly lighter as well. The PCC feels nice and sturdy, and is lighter than it appears. I'm curious how those sharp corners will hold up in a pants pocket all day, though.

I got mine in the matte black, which is very cool. I could do without the gold stripe (not a fan of the color), but it still looks pretty nice.

All in all, I'm not disappointed with the product. I just can't wait to see how it hits with the shredded PTB and Straw mods on the carts...

I tried the shredded PTB mod with failed results. They seem to stick to the atty everytime I go to top off. The regular PTB method has been working really well though.

Did you try to leave the shreds attached to each other at the bottom? That's how I got mine to work, and I did notice a (substantial) difference between that and the non-shredded on my NPro.

Sometime tonight I'll empty one of the "Low" carts that shipped with my 510 to try the mod on it.

I did and it always seems to stick. I think my atomizer might be a little dry. Maybe a few drops will help.

I have the Npro as well. It was my first pv. Since I've had my 510 I haven't used it much. It constantly leaked and would shoot loads of liquid out on every drag.

So, some odd number of hours later, and now suddenly the 510 is not working the way it was right out of the box (or at least after unpacking and then charging it). I made sure it had a full charge and a full cart, but it is barely producing vapor, and 0 throat hit, and is requiring a pretty strong draw to even get that.

I know there's a learning curve for using a manual battery, but I thought I'd gotten the hang of it pretty well.

IS this normal? I know some attys have a "break in" period. But if it worked so well right after its first charge, how is that it now doesn't work as well, breaking in or not?

Help...

So I woke up today and was excited about having s full day with my new 510. I had charged the battery overnight (still waiting on a reply from Totally Wicked about their screw-up of my order and the missing second battery and charger) in the PCC. I made sure my cart was nicely topped off but not overfilled, and set out to start the day.

And...nothing. I'm barely getting any draw off of the 510 at all. I thought maybe my PTB cart mod had somehow gone wrong, so I pulled out one of the shipping pre-filled carts and popped it on there, careful to ensure the cart was lined up with the atty properly.

And...I got one decent hit, then back to nothing. So I removed the atty and blew it out, then popped it back together.

And...I got one decent hit, then back to nothing.

This is really frustrating. Right now, my NJoy NPro (RN4081) is seriously outperforming my 510, and that's just wrong. Anyone got any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

I actually replied to an email they sent me from a previous question they answered for me. And I did call their 888 number yesterday and left a message.

Short of driving down to Florida, I'm not sure what else to do. ;)

Sounds like you flooded your atomizer.

Good advice. I took it and called back, and I got someone on the phone just now who is sending me a new (correct) starter kit and return label for my existing kit.

Thanks, liscab. :)
But probably the are going to wait to have the wrong parts back before sending you the new ones,I would wish they don't do that, but they make me wait for my pack that the USPS trackig system return to them( and it was clear on the USPS webside)to have those parts in theirs hand to send it back to me
TW could be not too bad,but they make many mistakes
