OHAI again guys :]

I've actually got a few questions so I'll just jump right in. I bought my first model, the M401, almost a month ago, and Made another purchase for a 510 model by Joye, which I've been using for a little over a week now. Both are great, as I've established which I'll be vaping at home and the other for 'on-the-go'. I read up on mods, such as the PTB filler, straw mod, and pengrip atty dripper, and kept track of how many drips a cart can hold.

So today, I refilled my 510 and 401 carts with new filler, but tried the shredded PTB for both this time. After vaping on both, I noticed a change for the better, but I felt like a little more could be done. So I added a straw mod to it also. Now they're just hitting like beasts.

My question: Is this 'overkill' in a sense, since people on ECF tend to prefer the PTB over straw mod now. My logic was 2 good things equal one great thing. Has anyone else tried this?

Also, I read that you can add PG, VG, or everclear to your pre-existing bottle of liquid, which the intentions of either diluting the dosage of nicotine (24mg > 16/18mg) or just to create more liquid if you're running low. I like the idea of creating more, but the downside is obvious; the dilution reduces the flavor.

I'm curious as to who has tried this, and how drastic is the flavor change?

My apologies, as I understand this would be better suited for the "mods section" of ECF, however I'm still unable to post there due to my senority.

Thoughts, advice, opinions, or user testimonies would be greatly appriciated. Thanks again for taking the time to read this! Happy vaping!

I've diluted Mint and Cinnamon by half (with higher-power unflavored juice) and found that both were still acceptable, but I've also gotten Mint juice that didn't have as much flavor to begin with as the stuff I diluted -- the diluted Mint tasted at least as good as the undiluted Mint from a different supplier.

In other words, it depends on the juice, and of course it also depends on your taste. What someone else considers acceptable dilution of taste might be unacceptable to you.

So, don't dilute too much to start with, or else you'll end up with a lot of juice you don't like. Start with a little, and see what you think (that is, try it for a day, not just a couple puffs), and then keep going until you get to the point where it seems too diluted for your taste.

I'm sure you'll get plenty other responses, Dubskie-
First of all Welcome to ECF!
Yes you can add VG, everclear etc to - usually cut the liquid to a lower strength... to make more liquid... I wouldn't add too much of any one of those as it may change vape and everything more than taste... What you can do though is get some flavor only- Loran's, capella, Fairies Finest, etc- can be found at a number of craft stores for immediate use - then you can buy it from a few different suppliers here- the price difference could be better or craft store could be better depnding your area... get a coupon out of the Sunday paper for AC Moores or Michael's... 40% off and although it isn't overly expensive there... you could get a couple flavors in multiple transactions that way and be cheaper... They won't have tobacco of course, but you can get vanilla, cherry, mint, butterscotch, etc-
You can't post over there yet but read the DIY mixing board... many suggestions over there! Also, look at some of thesites that offer DIY kits- it will give you an idea of what to ask as far as ingredients and etc- and there is a stick w/ a calculator to give you a better idea of how much to add to your liquid...
Happy vaping!
