My 5V OMG mod came in today...

I have been using Vapor4Life since late 2008 and have never went back to analogs, but I decided to hanker down and get a mod.

I read up before i purchased my mod and the chief concern was about juices+tanks. Since the OMG mod is not VV, I would need to worry about juices being scorched. I have used WOW Peppermint since it came the WOW line debuted so it's all i have, well here's what I found:

1. V4L USA Peacemaker Peppermint @ 24mg scorches. It gave me such a nasty first taste.

2. Contrary to what I saw in a review video for the 5V, the prefilled WOW cartos work fine without scorching or overheating.

3. V4L WOW Peppermint @ 36mg does NOT scorch. I had to top it off three or four times but it's hitting great now.


What juice compatibilities have you guys found so far that works well with the tank+5V combo?

Ericlikesyou (sir or Ms.?) are you sure that you had the tank good and primed with the peacemaker? Been using it for the past week without issue. Depends on what flavor in the wow cartos. If you used wow pepp, no. Haven't found a wattage that won't vape at (one of the few in that class). Compiling a list, will have parts of it up tomorrow possibly. Have some other items to take care of as well.

Yea peacemaker I made sure to top off a few times, the hits were gurgling but it was still weird tasting. I also notice there's a little bit of liquid at the contact point at the bottom when I unscrew the tank to check (on both flavors), maybe I'm doing it wrong? :\

Could be the carto gor burnt Ericlikesyou before it wicked properly. Best practice is to use one of the stealth or king diamond batts to make sure the carto isn't dry before using the 5v OMG. The kd's can still burn the carto, but you can go a few more dry burns faster than with the omg before that happens.
