My 6v magnum!!!1

Hey yall
Just finished my 6v magnum.
I followed madog's instructions and now I have a working heavy hitter.
WOW what a difference. I did not put the led in but my next one will have it. Still have a couple tec issues to work out but it works great.

Wow Tankerman this is super. I remember your past thread. You was having a hard time with the e-cigs. Now you have the bomb.

Welcome to High-Voltage vaping (HVV).You will never go back to 3.7 volts again! At least until you need to tear into the Magnum to do repairs, so build a few.

What batteries are you using - cr2 or cr123A?

I am using the cr2 batts
and yes the atty is still kicking. I have been using it for 3 days non stop and so far no problems!!!
Still tons of vapors and the batt are holding up.
I have some recharge comming from china soon so I can stop paying the store for them.
Did I mention it is great!!

Very nice. I'm convinced I need a 6volt mod. no question about it. Do you have a link to maddogs instructions? I need something I can print out and give to my husband the solderer lol

So hows the 6volts working for ya? I have two 6 volt mod's, and while I love the intense heat you can achieve in the first or 2nd drag......is it just me or does anyone else run through 3 x's the liquid this way?

Other than that, it appears that I have my days when I crave a 6 volter or 3.7-5volts....kinda like having the option of an occasional cigar.

Well the atty and cart melted and fused together and now my 6v magnum is dead dead dead boohoo. Now I have to build another one. I wanted to fix the kinks in this thing I guess I found another one. lol

Ouch, sorry to hear mate, I almost did that with my 510. I was sitting on it? Then I realized my ... was getting reallly freaking hot!
Saved it just in time. Unfortunately the cart was unusable.

Sorry to hear that man. I've almost done this, got the atty hot enough to melt OFF of the cart....and what do you know? The atty still works after 3 months. Can't explain it.

I personally recommend to never transport your atomizer attached to your mod or ecig, even if it has the ability to turn on/off via secondary switch for that reason and liquid leakage.

Not the atty is still a screw type
I do not know how the hole thing died. I have voltage at the female but the atty will not work. I put the atty into my 510 batt and it works fine. Can't explain. I have ohmed it out and it should work but it does not
It still smells like 190 proof.
Sooooo I'm gonna build another one!! The downfall is I have become use to it I cannot feel my regular 510 at all and find myself smoking more analogs
I just got home maby I can start on one but I have to goto bed In 1 hour (still on call) hopefully I can finish it befor I go on a camping trip this week.

You may have melted (shorted) the grommet on the atty connector ( the bit from Nerf).
