I didn't want to complain to GP as I just don't know what happened so I'm sorta asking a question here. I was using my first 901 atty ever and I found it was really good for dripping and was super-happy and wondering what I was going to doo with all my 510's and then, first one hit was weak then the next non-existent. I thought maybe the batts were weak in my GLV (weak-hitting is what happens when the batts need switching) but I switched them out and still nothing. I then went to one of my 510's as I was wondering if it was the pv but that atty stopped working also. I was vaping some viking vapor 2x flavor Royal Raspberry, one of my faves, but it is thick; I have been fine vaping other juices with some of my 510s with the GLV so I now wonder if it was the juice overloading the atty. I have cleaned them both (the 510 and the 901) and they are both deader than doornails. This is a first for me, I've been dripping for a month and a half and these are the first two that have ever failed (from what I've read I've been lucky up until now!) and I am befuddled. Like the thread says, I just want to know what happened!

Are you using 3.7 volts?

Did you purchase a dse901 or a GP901?
(I could check your order w/ number for you.)

Would you be using an adapter? Perhaps a connection is not being made.

Being that the 510 atom died also, how long have you been using that particular liquid?

Are other atomizers working correctly with the GLV?
Could dripping effected the switch or internals of the GLV?

Lets try to solve this.

Thanks
Rob

Are you using 3.7 volts? I was using 5!

Did you purchase a dse901 or a GP901? GP901
(I could check your order w/ number for you.)

Would you be using an adapter? Perhaps a connection is not being made. Tried it with a Kr808 batt and nothing; was using an adapter to the glv

Being that the 510 atom died also, how long have you been using that particular liquid? I've gone through about half of 80 ml

Are other atomizers working correctly with the GLV? Yes, and with adapters,

Could dripping effected the switch or internals of the GLV? They're supposed to be sealed and have never had interior leakage and I've flooded it accidentally a couple times, I am prone to flooding but I'm getting better -- plus I use adapters per AllAboutTheVapor's suggestion.

Lets try to solve this.

Thanks
Rob

Thanks so much, Rob, I'm just confused and it seemed pretty cool, I haven't killed any attys yet except for the one I used with pizza flavor (it never left!!!).

(wow.. great supplier response! I'll have to go check out his 901s.!!)

Rip: on the 901: did you wash it? Each and every time I wash/clean a 901 it dies.

NOTHING I do can revive it (that's not to say it can't.. others have been able to revive them, but I never can.)
That said, I drip w/my 901s too (LOVE IT) and sometimes they'll last me a week or longer, sometimes not more than a day (This last one :() so each atty IS different (of course YMMV, and all that...)

Hope Rob can help you!

The GP901 has a higher resistance then Joye 510 atoms, so I think we can rule out the voltage.

Leanneb mentioned about cleaning, that could be possible. I recommend hot water, but drip drying or very gently blowing, but never hard.

It is possible that the liquid used was too think to wick, so if there was any burnt flavor, that could be the reason.

The center contact of the atomizer can be pulled out a very small amount with a tooth pick or other small instrument.
this tip revives alot of DOA;s and other atoms that have been pushed in from adapters, etc.

All in all, I can send a replacement.

Hey Rob, I treied to pull it out to no avail; also, I already have tried to clean it with alcohol so maybe I killed it totally now.

I really would like to try another -- do you want me to send this one back? I saw on the site you were out so give me a holler when they're back in and we'll work something out. Thank you very much, Also tell me when you have the 510 passthrus in stock, I was wondering about them also..........

Leanne, there is no one better than Rob in Customer Service. He always gets back to his customers very quickly. BTW, how did you like the homemade juice I sent you??
