Yo, started vaping 2 weeks ago and have been vaping my alien smok 3 days ago. Started on 25w moved all the way up to 40w and it feelt really strong. Now im vaping at 60w and it ´feels weak and i only get a weak taste of flavor? Is it the coil or something? or is it my settings?

Looking at the screen the numbers don't really add up. What coil are you using? It's reading at .837 so you might be running into an issue with that. I'd try to make the mod read the coil again. Try to take the tank off, fire it & put it back on. It should ask if new atomizer. Choose yes. Hopefully it will read where it should be.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like you are using the RBA in that tank. If so what build are you using with which cotton type?

If you are using a Smok coil, that resistance is wayyy to high, remove the tank and disassemble it. Refit the base to the alien, tap the fire button to bring the screen back up, put the coil back in but don't fully tighten It, just until you get a little resistance then tap fire button again. Should ask if it's a new coil, select Y. Should find resistance is back to where it should be.

Found with my Alien and with Baby Beast (And Big Baby) that if you overtighten the coil, it messes the resistance up.

0.4 is better. How does it seem now?

The amps displayed on the Alien are completely irrelevant, can just be ignored. You are fine at 60W, keep it under 100W and won't have any battery issues.

Just for reference, I use a 0.3 ohm coil at anywhere between 35 and 45 on Normal (think you have yours on Hard, try normal, gives a softer initial hit) and gives great flavour.

In my Baby Beast I am using the .15Ω Quad coils at 30 to 35 Watts and they are giving me wonderful flavor and a nice smooth cool vape.
they are pretty amazing....., @jed1c I'd recommend picking up the RBA deck.... its worth learning how to build your own coils to your own preferences that way if something doesn't seem right you can tinker with it......

Another member told me that the Baby Beast RBA is so tiny it is very hard to work with.
it sounds time consuming, a lot of stuff seems hard even following videos, but with coil building videos it is very simple, just do it step by step and youll be building coils within 2 videos....
