if you got the burnt taste back after it got better, is sounds like either you have bad juice, or more likely, you are doing something wrong in your dripping method; like burning the juice on the coil.
Are you keeping the atty at least a bit moist?
I know that the best dripped vapes are when you don't drip too much, and the last few vapes off the fill are the best... but there's a fine line. I remember being very careful to sense the slightest bit of harshness or burnt taste which signals that if i don't redrip (and not too much either or it will flood, and that's as bad) I will risk burning the coil/juice.

If you are getting burning and dying within a week or so, that's way too much stress on the atty for it to die that fast.

Dry burning is not the sure fire way to clean em and imo shortens the life of the attys.

Okay so is this supposed to get rid of the burnt taste? I've been vaping for a month and have/had 8 attys, two I killed cleaning them and the other 6 all taste burnt. I've dewicked a couple thought thate solved the problem but the taste came back after a few days, then I debridged one and I don't see the point in why people do that, but yea all still burnt. I'm really choked... I love to vape but if I can't fix this problem I'll probably go back to my.. well I won't say it. I'm going to order 10 more attys but that will be it if they all taste burnt I'll quit. I had 4 that I ordered from China (I won't say where cause they said they'd compensate with my next order) that tasted burnt right off the bat. This just doesn't make sense to me, but I'm going to order 10 more probably from Northern Vapor or Vapors kitchen and hopefully they last longer than a few days or a week. If anyone knows what to do please tell me, I've been dryburning the crap out of these things and am not getting anywhere....

If you are using LR's they don't last as long either... and run hotter.
From China, they are probably 1.8 Ohm unless they are authentic joye LR, then they're 1.5 ...hot.

I'd try a higher 2.0 Ohm for LR's, and also recommend regular that are 2.2 and not higher than 2.5 Ohm for your 3.7 pv.

Thanks Ukeman for the advice, yea I don't know much about batteries but I'm using stock and the attys are from eastmall not too sure if they're LR or not. I've got my dripping down pretty good for a noob. I do occasionally flood, but I usauly start my sesh with 3 drops on the bridge and then 2 after that when I think its getting low but I never let it dry out. I put all my attys in vinegar and am leaving for 2 days so tommorow I'll let you know if that worked. It did work last time so we'll see thanks again man.

LRs last just as long as any other atty... I have Cisco 306s that have been going for months

Prov, try a name-brand 306 like a Joye or a Cisco (Avidvaper.com)

If you're dripping, definitely De-wick.

A clean, dry 306 will take 7 drops. When the flavor begins to change, add 2-3 more. After you blow a 306 out, it'll take 5 drops. This is what I've found to get that perfect balance between flooded and dry. Dont give up!!!

why do practically all vendor sites say LR's are not guaranteed and won't last as long as regulars?
the answer is obviously because they're hotter ...

If you take care of them they'll last longer. and Cisco or Joye are reputably the quality items (Ikenvape too).

LR's are supposedly for simulating the vape of a regular resistance or high resistance (Ohm) at higher voltages than a 3.7 pv (they are not true 3.7 voltage, but less).
Depending on your own preference, they run in range of 1.5 to 2.0 Ohm; from hot to cooler, but all will give more vapor... the taste differs due to more or less heat.

But why the "regular" resistance attys are recommended and in most kits and made for 3.7 pv's is because they are safer to use (last longer - higher resistance w/ lowish voltage). They give a cooler vape and for many, insufficient vapor...

I find a "reg" 2.2 joye atty does pretty good on a "3.7" pv.... ymmv, but i like them better with true 3.7v to 4.5v myself :)

Not sure why some say that... but my experience has been otherwise. In terms of "heat" (wattage) my HV 306s burn hotter (10 watts) than my LR 306s (9 watts) and both last a long while... in fact, the only 306s that have died on me have been my fault... I thought one was full, took a nice long pull... zap... the other one I fried was during cleaning. Again, I got it too hot for too long... wasnt paying attention. If you take care of them, they last just as long as any other atty...

it costs about $15... but take your order over $20 and the shipping (priority) is free...
the Pyrex Drip Tip (tapered... is longer for less heat and back wash) will end your juice hang ups... for dripping and vaping.
from Theecig.com
I swear by em.

Thanks man. The suggestion on the glass 306 drip tip fixed my problem. No more juice popping in my mouth... I really didn't think that would help but... It did. Many thanks.

I agree dude. The HV 306 attys from Ikenvape are insanely nice. I think I've had a few die on me, whether it was my fault or not... I'm not entirely sure... I think age plus forgetting to pump my bottom feeder did it for several of them. But overall, you're right. It does seem to be a lot of the times the user's fault for the atty's demise. You just have to be careful, remember they are not a cigarette. Yet, they will pleasure you like one. :D

i don't know how i survived dripping without these PYrex's ... they are a reward for persevering in dripping, and not going with carto's and tanks...
haha

isn;t is a kick to drip vape a 306 with the Pyrex?

Been using them for a while, they're nice when they fit. Had a few that didn't fit IKV 306's nicely and leaked... one didn't even stick to the atty. Let alone... it didn't stick to their crappy Bauway atties either lol.

hmmm.. thats no good =\ I dont know, I'm thinking I might stick with the trusty see-thru delrin DTs from Avid and IKV... never had one leak or not fit...

Just used this method for the first time on an atty that I thought would never perform well again. Even ultrasonic cleaning hadn't gotten it to produce vapor. It's now working great - almost like new!

I'll be going through all of my other ones now and getting them going again. I have stock Riva batts, so it'll take a while because of the charging cycles, but it should be worth it :)
