It's been a wonderful 3 months with my REO. Except fiddling with the damn bottle. Squonk... Dry hit... Squonk longer... Dry hit.

What's going on ? Oh of course the stupid o ring is messed up. Fiddle with bottle twenty times and then it's good for a little bit. An hour later start process.

If it wasn't for this little annoyance I'd be totally happy

when it occasionally fouls up on me, I remove the bottle and the cap from the tube. lever out the o-ring, wash the cap n ring down, dry it and reassemble (with a tiny drop of juice to lube it up).

use a mini screwdriver to snug the o-ring back into a nice position.

but yeah the occasional overtighten has a way of causing this.

You drill a 11/64 hole in the drip top of the bottle and side the tube through, you do not use a cap or o ring.

So replace the cap and tube on the left with the cap top on the right.

I haven't used the bottle mod (yet), but just as an aside, some juices are known to distort the o-ring over time, so that could be a problem as well, although the bottle mod should solve the problem either way.

So true. My Cinnamon practically dissolves o-rings within a week or so. Admittedly I can't replace a ring if my life depended on it. Quite frankly I really don't believe anyone who says its a piece of cake and love to meet one that's says it is. The fact is as ancient puffer said it depends on the juice being used. I don't doubt that some folks never need to replace one and its only because of the e-juice they use.
