^ same here. That's a completely foolproof way to do it. Just tilt slightly towards airhole, squeeze bottle until you see the glimmer of juice and it's game on.
Not sure how it would work on stock airhole though. I'm running 1/16"

when i blind squonk i just do it until i feel/hear the gurgle. I can't really watch the air hole while i drive :X
I learned my squonk technique from a bumble bee somewhere along the way... that and with HOURS of countless practice It hasn't failed me yet. I do not take my drip tip off and I do not blind squonk till I hear a gurgle. Here is the method... be careful, it is VERY complicated.
If bottle is full, squonk for a count of 3
If bottle is less than half full, increase to a count of 5
You can taste when it wants to be re-squonked... I don't take super long draws so I don't get dry burnt cotton hits. You just begin to taste the cotton a little... and then you re-squonk.
Ive only been using my Reos for a little less than 3 weeks now, so I am not as seasoned as the others. I can tell you though that after a fresh squonk I can get 4 or 5 hits and can INVERT my Reo with no leaking!
I haven't had juice on my hands in the last 3 weeks.... and it happened daily (multiple times) when I was dripping on a tube mod with an IGO-L

I try to make sure i'm not pumping my bottle, and just pressing and holding.
I just cleaned and rewicked 3 of my reo's, screwed the rm2's on a tad tighter than i had before and cut a tiny part of the bottom of the tubing, and made sure the bottles were tightened snugly. I'll see how it goes!
also I can only tell, other than it dripping out down the side of my reo, in my 2.1 minis if there's juice building up in the well. it's impossible to tell in my other mini's since the rm2 sits in there much more flush, and i don't seem to encounter this issue in my 2.0 mini's.

I was getting a high number of dry hits, then I was getting flooding from the air hole from over squonking. So now if I lost track and don't know if I should squonk or not, I position the air hole down and draw on it without squonking or firing. If I get a slight gurgle then I flip air hole up and vap, If no gurgle squonk until gurgle and then go.
With this method I no longer get dry hits or flooding.
Someone posted that they were using drip tip o rings on the 510 threads of the RM2, I just started doing this and it seems to work very well.

So everythign I tried yesterday wasn't that successful. I didn't overflow juice down my reo, but when i cleaned them up today there was still juice under the rm2. I think this problem is ONLY in my mini 2.1's. Today I'm going to try to just not squonk nearly as much as I have been.
Im new but Ive noticed I really have no issues with my dark thicker juices and my thinner juice tends to do as described.
I bought my reo specifically for bobas so until I get me next one thats what Im going to keep running through her.
I 100% use as mentioned the blind squonk hold for 3 with a full bottle and 5 for almost empty and it works for me.
I also truly believe once you get to know your reo and how each juice is handled theres nothing better.
You know what I really love about this setup. So many juice delivery devices are only good until your 1/4 full then they hit poorly or flood.
I can squeeze the last damn drop out which hits as nice as the first and never floods.

ill squeeze and then hold......then i glance at my air hole while I'm driving and if i see juice I'm good........im not taking my eyes off the road no more than it takes to look at my speedometer.....LOL.....ive gotten good at it......
but who am i to tell.....i still text and drive sometimes.......i know its stupid but its a habit
Today was a little better. I didn't vape out of my 2.1 as much though. Tomorrow i'll relax most of the day, so heaps of vaping will ensue, and I"ll have to see how much better i do
