I actually use to have long hair and when I got it cut real short, I donated it to Locks of Love.

Last year I gave blood during a blood drive, had never done it before. Never thought about it until I drove by the blood drive buses parked in a church parking lot, so I pulled in, gave my info and filled out the questionnaire, and gave blood. It felt awesome being able to help out like that.

It's nice being able to help out in any way we can. Lynlee, you have done something amazing. I'm sure I speak for everyone in PIF when I say Thank you.

It really did give me a good feeling Toni~! The way my hair looks now....not such a good feeling, lol.

Once I get it evened out and styled it will be fine. I'm shooting for the first 2 pics, but there are too many uneven spots, it will probably wind up more like the last 2 pics:

This thread iis just totally awesome.I work at a hospital, a children's hospital. I'm no doctor or medical person but I can tell you this.

You do not realize the impact you are making on someone's life. Especially for a child, an adult will feel bad but can think it through, but for a child or young adult, you are helping to make them feel like a person again. You have helped then regain their self esteem.

I will now tell you what I told my daughter after she had her cut and donation made, YOU ARE A HERO, YOU MAKE ME PROUD, YOU HAVE MADE SOMEONE VERY, VERY HAPPY.

This is Melody just after she had her cut made. That smile is the smile of a young and innocent heart feeling a true PIF that she just made.
