I was going to put it in a plastic box temporarily and do some real world testing before taking it out and installing in a wood box mod....but I liked how well it worked so much I'm leaving it in.
I did paint and poly coat it a more palatable shade of blue...

Nothing earth shattering as it's very similar to what other folks have done; I just wanted to make one that uses common modding parts and is flexible enough to use in other mods. The only surprise was how long it took to get the feeder button working just right. It takes work to make something simple work well.

Also, I really like the small wheel volt adjustment and will use it again and again; especially with that chip.

Looks nice, Good find on the plunger. :)

What box is that.

The plunger was from the link you posted from a leather shop....it was perfect. I got 1/2 and 3/8 sizes so I could adjust the position and the button throw. I put a slightly larger diameter brass tube in the box lid for the button post to slide through so it would always have vertical movement. If I didn't, the side force from pushing it would cause it to eventually wear and wobble. The solid brass is killer......

The box, I think, was from Digikey....but it's been a drawer for several months so I'm not 100% sure; just going from memory. I'll measure it and do a search on their site because I will use it again. It feels really good in the hand

Well there are usually part numbers in the boxes, Hammond at least. Getting a box without angled/tapering sides (like the RS project boxes) is tough.
