Tucson, it's a dry heat
Everybody seems to think that they need a PV that most closely resembles a cigarrette at first, me included. But then, most people give up on that soon after they spent too much money on a cig-a-like kit that has limited options and leaves you wanting more. You get used to the eGo's really fast. Now, when I see people puffing on a skinny cig-a-like, I think they look sillier trying to emulate smoking rather than vaping full-on. YMMV.

Try an eGo - def. bigger than 650 and def. have a backup. Then maybe start with a clearomizer like an EVOD. Start small with juices - that seems to be the hardest part - finding YOUR flavor. Get sample packs. Experiment with the nic level -try several. See how you do for a few weeks, then be ready to move up!

And read a LOT here at ECF. Your mind will be boggled, but in a good way. There's a learning curve, but be open-minded - you'll learn something new everyday!

Thanks for all the help thus far guys!

I think i'm going to to get the kit I linked to in my original post but with the 1100mah option instead, I'd probably kick myself a week later for getting the 650. My mind could change 2maro on what kit I should buy, but for now its looking good. :)

As long as this kit will allow me to expand in the future I'll be happy. Obv I'm still researching if xxx works with xxx.. It's still way to confusing. :)

Most importantly, have any of you bought from this joint or used any of there liquids?

I made my purchases elsewhere, but you can always enter the name of the company you're ordering from in the search bar here and if someone has referenced them, it'll come up. It's a great way to check a company's reputation outside of their own website. I don't know anything really about the kit you're looking at since, to be honest, I had different "must have" options in mind. For juice, maybe try a few smaller sized bottles to see what you like? That way you don't end up with a big bottle of something that makes your tastebuds go "really?" Some e juices come in tobacco flavors but they're (reputedly) not so much like the real thing. Taste is subjective though. There are so many options on e juice delivery devices for Ego devices so I'm sure you'll find one that gives you the experience you're looking for. Hope it works for you!

I have just moved to a more advanced pv but this got me started and I use them now exclusively for on the go vaping.http:www.litecigusa.net/Joye_Ego_C_Electronic_Cigarette_Starter_Kit_p/egocblkkit.htm
These are genuine Joye and carry a warranty. Also this vendor has superb service. Had a battery with a sticky button and was sent a replacement immediately.
This also has a standard threading which will let you play with different juice delivery systems (cartos,attys,tanks...more mush)
This link is for two full ecigs but are the smaller 650 mah batteries. I believe I saw somewhere that the mah is a direct correllation to the amount of time you'll get per chafge. 650's will give approximately 6+ hours shile the 1100's will give 11+ hours. The smaller batteries won't fire some of my carto tanks as they aren't strong enough. But those are a great start nonetheless.
All you need is some good liquid. Get ready for more mush. Just as you did your homework on your first pv purchase, I reccommend doing the same with liquids. Checkout the e liquid forums for reviews and suggestions.

Ideally I'd like something more along the lines of an analog, but i also want something that holds 1ml+ and has a good sized battery that I won't have to charge everyday. 1000mah's would be great but i'd look funny as hckl puffing a wand while at a stoplight.

I was checking out the Ecabs (More analogish) too. They hold 1.2ml, have the removable atom's like the ego-c's but the batteries are on the smaller side, they're are super cheap though and could have a dozen on hand.

I don't plan on sitting around when I get home from work and vaping till I go to bed. I'm going to try and keep the same pattern I have going on now which is about 7-10 cigs per day. I do not smoke in the house so I want to try and vape outside to keep my routine in check. The last thing I want to do is increase my nicotine habit by "smoking" it all the time.

I've got the ecab, I find its great, and coupled with the eroll, that's all I need. I have some 'old' ego batteries, and thought I'd get an evod to fit them to use them up as it were. But I don't like the evods at all, feels like too much throat hit and nicotine for me, and not enough flavour. This seems to be the opposite of most other people who say the old atomiser and tank combo is not good flavour.

I like the ego c atomisers and they work with all the eroll, ecab and ego batteries, so it's very simple for me to replenish supplies. In my case I don't feel any need to upgrade to vv, vw or anything else. I find the 'old fashioned' tank system works great, no leaking and the attys last two weeks or more, with occasional dry burning. I don't rewick or rebuild them, at £4 each for 2 or more weeks, it beats my £64 a week habit on the cigs.

Hope u find the set up that suits you...

I've gone back through all the info I've been provided and came up with another possible plan.

I'll post it here to get some opinions.

2 1000mah (Non pass thru, still thinking about that option)
10 total ce4 clearomizers
An extra usb charger for my car
Starter kit that'll give me an spare 650mah and charger for my home pc

The ce4's and batt's are all compatible correct?

Having gone the whole route from cig-a-like, up thru eGos, and on I'd suggest you skip the in-between steps and go right to a vv/vw like a VAMO... Here's a link to a starter kit that has everything you need except the clearomizer -- cheapest vamo mod vv vw starter kit... And here's a link at the same vendor for vivi Novas -- vivi nova clearomizer kits - VaporBreak...

Yes, they're in China, but I've ordered from them several times with no problems and you can't beat their prices!!

While I was searching the site I came across a random fasttech.com link and clicked on it :). Being a newb I knew nothing about it. All i'll say is that I got everything I wanted and more for half the price had I bought it in the lower 48. Anxious to see how decent it is, I mean, it is pretty much the same generic ecig stuff they sell on all the sites so it can't be any worse...

My purchase:

2 different 900mah lcd display battery kits (Usb Charger, atty, metal case) in Champagne and Blk.
1 random silver 650mah
5 various flavors to test out
Attys
A travel case, filler bottle, home charger

I consider that a pretty good starter kit. lol.
