This is a cheap version of the "Line" made from an F1 cartomiser i think it's called. Pretty easy to make and works a treat
The wire posts are made from tempered food grade SS wire (1.6 mm diameter). It is supposed to be able to handle about 1350 Celsius. I found this at a store which sells stuff for people who grow bees (have no ideea of the english term sorry
).
The coil is 0.2 mm khantal and it reads between 1.8 and 2.0 ohm depending on how wet the wick is.
At the threads there is also the filling hole.
Materials used:
2 x F1 cartomisers , 1 for the body and 1 for the additional thread for the tip. Need to find a better top cap
Some tempered food grade 1.6 mm SS wire
Epoxy for the filling inside the first thread (i did leave the original silicon cap in there also)
0.2 mm khantal
400 mesh
9 x 1 washer to cover the filling hole
I only used a dremel for all the work. The hole in the top cap is 1.2 mm
Hope you like it
