Last time I bought cigarettes was Thurs morning, it's now midnight on Monday, I just been smoking a couple regulars in the morning and after supper, vaping most the day. I've been vaping all day today on 4081 with stock menthol carts, and I just fired up a cig and it tastes like crap.
I wonder why I even felt like smoking it now.. Yeah I'm still smoking it, not liking it really.. But still smoking it.
So is this how it goes?
It slowly replaces the regulars, more and more, until eventually you just don't even want one anymore. I think that's about where I'm at..
Tastes like crap, but still smoking it. I don't even like them anymore. But I'm still hanging on to those few a day, don't even know why.

Gotta chain vape when you feel the urge for an analog....

Me too!!

I guess after a few hours or days not smoking real cigs we relize what they really taste like. I would keep smoking too and got a headache. Finally after about 7 days of the PV and 1 or 2 analogs a day, I gave them up completely!!!

Today is day 3 with zero analogs. I will take it day by day but I think I'm finished with real cigs.

In fact I love my PV and in my mind I still enjoying what basicly seems like smoking to me, it is just healthier. I don't weeze when I vape so I know it's better.

I still bum a smoke off my roommate once in a great while -- maybe once a week? And every time I do it I wonder why I still sometimes think I want one. They taste like burning trash.

The only thing I can think is that I sometimes get tired of the sweetness of the e-cig. I'd like to find a flavor that isn't sweet in the least; going to order some coffee flavored liquid next week and see if that helps.

The craving for a real cigarette at this point is purely psychological. You'll see how it goes. :) Analogs are the old-school way to get nicotine; e-cigs become so far superior after a couple weeks that you'll wonder how you ever did it for so long.

Make sure you do your research on coffee flavors then.

I think there are basically two broad varieties - juice that tastes like coffee-flavoring (ie candy/coffee ice-cream/sugary coffee).. and then juice that's supposed to taste like actual coffee.

The one I got today is of the former variety.. luckily I'm into that sort of thing. But yeah, 'coffee' could either mean 'not sweet' or 'extremely sweet'. Just a heads-up.

Anyway, on topic, yes, I can't enjoy a cigarette anymore. I've already been told about my lung damage though, so it makes me happy that they suck now. If there's one thing I've learned about the smoking habit, it's that a bad diagnosis really is what it takes to make us want to move on. Luckily I'm not in danger of an early death (but I really would be if I hadn't started vaping)

The act of lighting a cig is what kept me addicted until a month ago. I also liked the strong odor and the socializing I had with other smokers (a lot of them were hot ) and just watching the smoke travel slowly towards the sky..... but the health/cost benefits of e-cigs motivated me to quit completely.

Some of the best people in the world are nicotine addicts.

The cream of the crop are checking into vaping!! :thumb:

SSimon, same with me, I have dropped a pack to a pack and a half out of my life per day.
To me, I can vape all I want in the house but have to go to the Patio or Garage for an analog, almost like a "Reward" I actually prefer the vape but I may need to ban the vape in the home.

I may be a bit tired and missing something here, but why would you need to ban vape in the home?

:)Just goes to show we're all a bit different. All of those things are reasons I wanted to quit smoking... except the hot smokers, but I can still hang with them with my e-cig!;)
