Received my order of 808-D XL CLEAROMIZER 2.6-2.8 OHM today. Thought I would post my experience with them.

The pack came with everything needed. Syringe w/needle (soft), 5 clearos, and drip tip.

Filled my first with goodejuice's raspberry (50pg/50vg). May have been too much vg as it didn't seem to wick very well, and the clearo tasted 'burnt' after about 3 hits. Tried going back and putting a drop or two right in the center of the atty, but just cant seem to get rid of the burnt taste. Looking for a good thread or link for cleaning out a clearo now :p

Saw a couple posts regarding clearos and dark or thick juices (goodejuice's raspberry is very dark), and thought I would give another shot. Filled a second clearo with english toffee from bluemistvaping. Wow! Huge difference. Been vaping it steady for about 20 minutes. Good vapor (80/20 mix), excellent flavor. No hint of burnt taste at all.

Now, I have been a big fan of dripping with a 901 atty, but I have to say the flavor and vapor of this clearo is comparible if not better than dripping. At least with the english toffee I have been vaping. Using these clearos with Volt sealed auto batts.

Rinsed the atomizer / bowl from the raspberry clearo out with some hot water. Got the flavor back.

Looked through some other clearo posts. Seems like the inside silicone washer is blocking off the wicks maybe. After flushing out, I left the silicone washer off and just put the drip tip on and seems to be working ok. May just snap the washers back in for transport, and pull them out for use. Dunno yet still playing.

I use the fluxomizers from gotvapes. I remove the lowest rubber, the one surrounding the ceramic part with the atomizer. Then I put the rubber ring back in and the end cap on. Without that rubber around the ceramic and atomizer it wicks MUCH better. I also fluff up the wick where it enters the ceramic.

I never get burnt taste now, and can chain vape like crazy. But it does make the clearo a bit leaky. I need to set it upright all the time. Fair trade off for the taste IMO.

To clean I pull off the plastic tube and rinse well. Then dry burn until all the carbon is off the atomizer. I even use a toothpick to scrap the carbon off the inside of the ceramic. Be careful if you try this, I've broken the atomizer wire a few time being too rough. It is very delicate. I have a couple clearomizers that have lasted 2 months.
