I would first make sure that you have exactly the same amount of wraps on each coil. If so then squeeze them together with a needle nose or tweezers so the coils are all tight and consistent with one another.(gently after heating them up) I strum the coil that's firing last, sometimes it wakes it up lol. Last but not least make sure your connections are tight. I'm sure others will have some more advice.

I built another coil with less wraps and its working much better. I have another question if you don't mind . in my common since way of thinking wouldn't more coils make more contact and make more vapor? I'm getting better vapor at 6 wraps then I did at nine

There's a fine line with what you're suggesting. Too many coils makes too high of an ohm build so you need more power to get what someone might get at lower ohms. Less coils makes a lower ohm build with less surface area but will hit harder and bring more flavor and vape. Alot of people do dual coil set-ups because you get the larger coil area x 2 and still get low ohms because the power source is split between the two coils. Therefore, two 12 wrap coils will get someone about .7 ohms and give more surface area.

First would be to check for any resistancein the atty with no coils installed. If that checks out build and install your first coil and note the resistance. Then build and install the second coil at the same diameter and number of wraps. Check resistance with both coils installed, should be exactly half the resistance of the first coil. Know your battery's specifications and stay within those limits using ohm's law.

yeah I need to do that I just figured if I stayed away from anything that could be under .5 ohms Id be okay with my battery. good thing I love to tinker cause I m already brain storming was to make it better the nimbus clone sucks by the way no room to work with has small post holes but its my first and it was really cheap so I guess if I can make this one rock I ll be that much better when I get a quality dripper. Thanks for all the help people! Glad
