I recommended that he try vaping about 4 months ago. He had been on a prescription drug to cut your craving for analogs but eventually went back to smoking. His breathing started getting pretty bad so he is on Advair and albutral. I talked to him the other night and he has been using the e-cig for about 3 months now. I told him that I finally switched and what brand I was using. He said he was using the same, joy brand. But he is really using an njoy. I looked it up and I don't think that is a very good e-cig. And the cartos are pretty expensive. I think I will save up and get him a joye 510. If he likes his njoy, he will love the joye 510. Plus the juice is way more affordable and tasty!

All in all I am so proud of him! He has been smoking for 50+ years!

I was seriously thinking of upgrading for my DH and I... but then I got my 3 pk of xl batts and we are doing great. I don't really want for more vapor. And the 3 pk of batts are a great addition to the 2 that came with our kit. No more waiting on bats to charge. But I am really not that heavy of a vaper, (I have started vaping a bit more due to these yummy juices and having more batt life) 1-2ml per day. I will upgrade some day I am sure. I think I would love to get one of these kits for my dad. And the inlaws are going to give vaping a shot too. They are 40 years into smoking and about 2-3 PAD smokers . There place smells terrible to me now. And when they came over for thanksgiving I let them smoke inside (they are disabled) I could barley stand it. It choked me out. They are on ss and would love to save the money that the spend on smokes. They are spending $20 a day. Finding the right juice for them I think is going to be tricky. They seemed to like the apple pie one. So I will get them that and let them sample the samples that I get, until they find there juice. I think they really need the batt life. They will be sucking on these things pretty much non stop I think.

I just can't believe how much my dad spends on the cartos for njoy. $30 for 5! WTH! About the same price as smoking if not more. I think he will be much happier with a Riva or 510. My dad is doing great with his njoy, so I think even the 510 would be a huge step up. I am not sure he is ready for the look and feel of a Riva. But I am thinking Christmas.

That's good, everybody has something that works for them. So, there's no need to upgrade unless you want to. Although, your in-laws will benefit from something like a Riva since they are 2 PAD smokers. They will need the extra battery life to keep them going. As you mentioned. it will save them a ton of money as well.

Anyways, that's WAY to much for a pack of cartos. He's definitely getting ripped off with the ones he buys from njoy.
