I like the idea of low, med, hi - but in reality youd pick one and stick with it i think.
What you could do however is keep it at 5, but somehow make it so you have a button and when you press you get EXACTLY 3 seconds , and then it shuts off. Might be cool?
Another mod ive been thinking of, is serial'ing up two atomizers + two batteries ( or 2x usb ) and let those atomizers run into a "tube", which ends up in ... well your mouth.
Imagine just how hard youd get hit by two atomizers puffing for 3 secs, and hitting you at once.
I have been working on the timed response; also to (primary reason) to reduce the current after initial heat up thereby reducing chances of burning, after-heat, and saving power. This requires a little bit of electronics though (did a short video in the touch switch thread).
