The Happy Hi-Liter Mod - when the office and e-cigs collide!

Bored at work, I started looking around my desk area for anything that could be a potential mod. My eyes found it's way to a hi-liter pen and the rest is history...

Compared to the juicebox mods that I typically do, these constrained space mods suck! I must have shorted out 3 or 4 LEDs trying to stuff all of the wires back into the pen. Putting the push button at the end also would have made life much easier but I guess it was worth it... As for the vapor, it's a monster like every other one of my usb mods except that it's much more comfortable to hold in my hand and by far it's the lightest. Dare I say it's my new favorite? (I think I say that every time!)

Nice work ! But could you not fit the atomiser into the main body and perhaps allow the cap to click over the mouthpiece?

I had just this afternoon posted this an idea, and you've already done it, but independently arrived at the same idea. Will you do the cola can with 'straw' next?

Lol, great minds think alike! Actually I did initially consider fitting the atomizer into the body but Zeke's experience with the plastic taste he was getting from his modded gorilla made me think better of it. The hi-liter plastic is pretty soft and it definitely would have melted if it contacted the atomizer for too long. As for the coke can, I'll leave that one to you. It seems too bulky for me although the atomizer "straw" is a great concept.

I think I'll wait for my dealextreme batteries to arrive to do any more mods since I now have 3 usb units and a battery back unit done in about a weeks time. I'll try the magnum/detonator next and then who knows what I'll do with those 3.7v AA and AAA batteries!

I was thinking of a pretty long straw and a weighted can so one just leans over to it, no need to lift it up!

I was looking at dealx with regards to the cheap pipe they have, and noticed many other interesting things. Really great prices

Just thought of another idea, that has the usb part already and only requires one to lean over - one of those usb desk fans

Great mod, I have been eyeing a thick Sharpie permanent marker to convert to a screwdriver. Leaving the cover over the atomizor I can just clip it in my shirt pocket.
