Decorated my pink eGos with nail stickers and clear nail polish. Got the idea from MistressNomad.

Sorry pictures are a little dark, but misplaced my camera and had to use my cell phone.
Lisa, those are really cute! Nice job - I would have been afraid that I'd mess up LOL.
Was a lot easier to do then I thought it would be and really makes it personal, I even saw some skull stickers which would look great on a man's pv.
Custom is cool! Looks good.
I saw in another thread someone had ordered some paper sized water proof vinyl sheets that you can print on from your printer at home and he made some cool custom wraps. I'm looking in to it now, but where did you get the stickers, they also seem to work and would be easier!

I just got them in the nail section in walmart but you could look in the toy section at kids stickers and you may even find sports teams or something like that. Then just use clear nail polish to keep them tight.
Thanks! I was going to ask if you sealed them. That was one of the appealing things about the wraps, that they would be less likely to fall off. Good tip!
So it looks like it's kind of a decopage thing, right? The nail polish is probably perfect because anything else as a sealer probably wouldn't dry and last. So cool - thanks for sharing 
Yes they are the pages of stickers you can buy to put on fingernails and the bonus of using the clear nail polish is that it gives your whole pv a nice shine to it as well.
Very cool! I'm into digital art...maybe i'll start making some custom creations of my own. Wonder if decoupage medium would work as well as clear nail polish? Wondering about the nail polish chipping.
Question...i just got my snazzy new pink ego today. Loving it! But the cartomizers i ordered (also called pink from same vendor) are SHOCKING painfully pink. Couldn't be a more 'unmatched' pink to the ego if they tried. I'd rather have black honestly, as they just trash the whole cuteness factor. You wouldn't happen to know of any cartos that actually match the pink ego, wouldja?

I have had my eGo's done for awhile and no trouble with it chipping. As far as the cartomizers I don't know, I only drip on my eGo's, Maybe get a nail pen and decorate the cartomizers with white or black, will tone down the pink.
Vapor4Life Pink Cool Carts are a very subtle pink. Hope this helps
Edit: Opps, forgot they are kr808 cartos not 510, but I use 510 to 808 adapter because I love my Cool Carts!

Thanks so much, both of you. Oooh, now decorating a carto is a great idea! That way i can get used to doing it, and if it comes out crummy i'm only stuck with it for a short while! By the time i get to my ego itself, I'll be all practiced up! Thinking of those colorful sharpies pens that supposedly work on anything...

Here's my first totally completed ego renovation. These are the batts/cone that came in the ego kit I got for a friend for xmas. It'll be her first pv, and hoping it'll help her quit cigs after 30 years on the butts.
I did my own skins with Papilio inkjet waterproof vinyl (comes in sheets of 10 for about $10 at amazon... you could get about 40skins plus a ton of excess for that.) I just made a template for ego batt and cone, clipped the pattern (which is a vintage wallpaper image) to the shape in photoshop, printed, peeled off backing, and rolled over ego. None of the weird 'air bubble' issues with this stuff that I've had with other skins I've purchased, which was nice. Then stuck some swar rhinestones to it w E6000 epoxy (stronger than superglue), and put sealer on whole thing. Came out a little blingier than I'd originally intended, but hoping it'll make her feel special. The green leaves on this thing actually match the rhinestones exactly, but you can't really tell in the photos. Here's front, back, and detail. BTW, ordered her a cute jade green driptip and another in blue, so I'll see which looks cuter on it when they show up. This is a riva, so the button lights up brite blue and looks really snazzy. Plus, that white bit showing at top is atty (this was originally a plain white ego), so might put pink atty on instead so its cuter.
BTW, for person who asked about nail decals...you can get packs of 10 or more sheets of nail decals for a few bucks at ebay. Here's a photo of all the decorating stuff I got there. Prob spent about $20 total, but the E6000 epoxy was about $10 of it. Those little pots in the back are 'big' glitter. They're smaller than the rhinestones, but not the powder that most glitter is. I'm doing my ego decorated with bits of that all over..should be cool. And the thing in the middle w wheel is multi colored rhinestones. Big tool is jewelers tweezers for dealing with stones. And then the pack of nail stickers. You should be able to find it easily, but if you need a seller reference for any of this stuff, just pm me.
