very interesting indeed! Madog have you ever considered trying to make one with that interesting looking romisen flashlight? I really need to head to radioshack. I got the Flashlight and was going to hack it but the damn thing is such a AWESOME flashlight I couldn't bring myself to cutting it up. they have them in Black now or at least they did I may do one someday - I am working on "other" things at the moment.

holy hell thats great to hear! I swear madog and bastage are gonna give me a stroke from all the anticipation! It really is a great flashlight though. I probably will get another one to serve its orignal purpose. On another note on sourcing a 801 connection from using a coax splicer that ceo51378 mentioned. It would be great if you can show us how it looks like and where you got it. I was pretty jealous that 901 fans can source a connection from a tire valve knowing that us penheads have a similar option is very comforting to know.

Are you using the switch Madog posted? I just got one of those and it seems to big to fit through hole (thats what she said, sorry I couldn't resist). I am resisting the urge to take the pipe cutter to the flashlight and attempting to try to wing it.
Has anyone here tried to convert an actual wood-type smoking pipe to an e-pipe? Ebay has all kinds of interesting pipes for relatively cheap that might be fun to convert. I don't really know how to do any of this yet, so was wondering if experienced tinker/modders think it would be possible based on size requirements or any other concerns.

Parapo, I have been trying to get a hold of rob1522 about that. It shows in this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/5092-modders-soft-touch-tactile-switch.html that he found some fitting that would be seem to give the appearance of the original finished product. PM'd him a good while ago but haven't gotten a reply yet.

Knutselpeter the Inventor tried this and failed, so he used a DX "shock your friend" pipe instead. It is posted in the Janty forum.
I think I'm gonna try this, thanks Madog! I'm still waiting on the DSE901 I ordered from ebay close to 2 weeks ago, but will be doing this. If it works I might have to put off my upgrade to the Pilot.
