I was at a football game and it started raining pretty hard. I was using my ecig and it got wet from the rain, then stopped working. Am I screwed, or can I fix it? I already tried blowing into it to reset the battery, and when I plug it up the light doesn't come on, but flashes twice when I unplug it. Help please.

Nevermind, wow... No sooner did i post this but it started working again! Weird, being and hour and nothing, then i post this and it works!
It more than likely still has moisture on the inside, What E-cig are you currently using?

As a general rule of thumb, any electronic device that gets wet should be thrown into a baggie of white rice ASAP. I've saved my friends cellphone he dunked in soup before doing this. They also sell packets at the store for similar purpose, if you're lucky enough to find any. I think Wally World carries them in either cleaning or electronics.

indeed, you do not know what could happen if there is still moisture inside. I would wait to use it until I was sure that there was nothing inside.
It's best not to try to use one that got wet until it's spent a few days in that ziplock bag of uncooked white rice (or other desiccant). And, as always, never be without a backup (and preferably a backup for the backup).
Thirding the baggie of white rice! I've saved so many electronics with this method. The rice will wick the moisture away from the internals, and it's super-cheap.
At least now you know that you haven't damaged anything yet, but definitely let it sit in that baggie for a while before continuing use!

Some mods can be damaged by moisture and some not. Self-contained battery mods are more likely to be damaged unlike those that are not.
Usually all they need is time to dry out. Thanks to the protected batteries inside there's no real damage to be done by water. I have an 808 that's gone through a full cycle in the washer and been dropped in the toilet and somehow it has has outlasted every other battery I had at the time.
