Hello everyone,
i bought an ego 610 (i hope its the real one) . i can't get much smoke out of it. i know.. i don't take hard drags and i don't overfill the cartridge.
the only time i get good vapor is when i put one or two drops directly into the atomizer. could it be the cheap e-liquid that i bought? is it possible to ad distilled water to it to make it a bit thinner because it seems pretty thick.
I cant upload a pic now. i have problems with my computer. the package says ego but it doesn't say joye. it was advertised as joye ego 610 though. im not sure if i can mention the online store here but they sent me a used battery too that didnt even work. anyway im new to all this so i have no clue whatsoever. any advise appreciated!! thank you!

Funny, I just Googled "joye ego 610" and this thread was the first result at the top of the page.

I think you SHOULD mention the online store.

update: i watched some youtube vids and cut my e-juice with vegetable glycering (50/50) and actually its much better now. maybe the e-juice wasnt that good hmm

ok. the online store is called capital vape. i just contacted them about this so lets wait up. mistakes happen but this was pretty disappointing. a dead battery that didnt look new?!

The problem you're having wouldn't indicate if it was fake or not. Fake PV's work just like real ones, they just don't work as long and they break down sooner. Joye licenses their eGo design to zillions of companies. Some use the Joye name and some don't. If you get good vapor by dripping on the atomizer, then there is voltage being delivered to the atomizer. Do you have access to a multimeter so you can read the voltage it's putting out. It should read 3.4V, or possibly 3.7V.

My guess is that it is either your juice, or it's the juice delivery device, probably the latter.
What are you using, a cartomizer? a tank system? That is most likely where your problem is.

Glycerine is the thickest thing you can use. You made it thicker if anything. If you're having wicking problems, you want to make it thinner. You also cut your nicotine level and your flavor, btw. Are you using an eGo-C? If so, there is a tweak you can do to the wick in your atty that'll make it wick better.

hello sorry about the late reply. im using Dekang PG juice from vaporgeek. i know the VG base is thicker but it works much better. 50/50 or 60/40 mix. the downside is that you lose some flavor when you mix your juice with VG base.
the Dekang is pretty strong and has a strong taste too but its hard to vape even in my new lavatube.

As for CapitalVape... im done with them. They sent me two used items when i bought their e-cg. a used battery that didnt work and an atomizer that didnt look new either and broke the next day. it had some black-brownish marks at the bottom too.probably burn marks. i dont know. at first he seemed willing to send me a new battery but when i told him about the atomizer maybe he thought i was playing games. anyway when i buy some think new i expect it to be new. theres really no excuse for that. they lost me as a customer. and their atomizer sucks anyway. barely works in my lavatube. its pretty weak
i would like to add that my new lavatube is amazing :)
thanks for the suggestions.
