MY EGO KIT JUST CAME!!!! Now what?

I ordered the 900 mah ego kit on saturday and it came today-wednesday

came with ego mega dual coil cartomizers-they included some juice and I chose the kona cream-I have some juice coming from gourmet vapor as well.
do I need to do anything to the cartos prior to filling? Batteries came almost fully charged only took 30 min for charger to turn green
also do these batteries have a memory-do I need to discharge them fully before recharging or do anything special to get maximum life from them

I just fill my cartos and go! Just do it slowly, let it sit for about 15 minutes and you should be good to go.

The batteries should be lithium ion type and therefore do not have typical memory issues.

However, speaking as a 15 year IT vet, Lithium batteries can be degraded by leaving them sitting not fully charged. It can reduce their overall capacity. So if a battery is going to be unused for an extended period, make sure it is fully charged (the same goes for your laptop folks.)

The first time filling those new cartos will take longer than any refill. I like to hold the carto at about 45 degrees and drip into the corners of the wall and filler while rotating the carto. Just go slow and avoid dripping into the center coils tube. Don't worry if you do though. Just lightly blow from the tip end to clear out any excess juice prior using. Also wipe the batt end of the carto to remove any excess juice prior to screwing it onto the batt.

If your draw seems to get 'light', check the batt and carto connections for juice. It happens to me if I'm in a rush (no pun intended) and draw too hard. At home I have Q-tips around to do a quick dry.

Be sure to sit down to take your first few pulls... just kiddin'. Although I do think you'll be totally impressed with the draw, vapor, TH and flavor.

Even if the battery turns green let it stay on the charger for 6 hours then use it for 30 minutes and charge it for another 2 hours. Get yourself a usb passthrough 5v version without the battery as a back up. You'll be glad you did.

Fill it up, screw it on and vape. Don't wait for the battery to die before charging. Rotate.

And, you'll probably buy two mods before the batteries crap out.

I LOVE THIS!!!
I had such a terrible experience with v2 cigs I almost gave up and did go back to analogs several times due to being ripped off with their dud prefilled cartos-They have a couple of flavors I liked but 1/2 to 3/4 of all my carto orders were duds and the ones that had some juice had such wildly fluctuating flavor-tried to work with them thinking it was just a bad batch but after several months with no adequate compensation (they deny there is a problem and will only offer discount on next purchase of more duds???) I decided to seek alternatives-Their forum has an almost cult-like environment where they claim there is nothing better etc... Don't get me wrong they have a right to their opinion but I feel fairly certain the customers are not the ones posting all the hype and propaganda if ya know what I mean... so anyway - as a newbie I was thinking " if this is the best screw it!" I am so glad I did not give up on e-cigs because of v2-apparently there are many others who have been through the v2 ripoff as I found so many postings on this forum by people with the same issues I went through.
I had no idea this forum was here and I am so grateful I found it!
I am very pleased with the kit I got- seems to be a great quality and I'm really looking forward to trying some different things since it is has so much functional versatility . Filled up the carto put it on the battery and BAM! awesome vapor-th perfect for me and the flavor is ok wish it was slightly sweeter but it has a good coffee flavor-have more juice coming and am sure I'll find my favorite soon-Wish I had gotten this first before I wasted money on v2 cigs-this is so much better at less cost! who woulda thunk it?

Way cool. I love to hear it. I got hosed down by V2 at the start too, but WTF, we got here. If cigarettes were free and E-juice was outlawed, I'd become a bootlegger before I smoked another analog. Vape on!!

I know I've probably pizzed some folk off due to my exuberant touting of these cartos. But, day-um, these cartos are great! I think only six and I have made eMDCC dedicated threads. Hopefully more people will try 'em and up their vaping experience.

I have only tried v2's prefilled cartos and I've been clear about the fact they were junk-
I have nothing else to compare these to but honestly they were easy to fill- they work perfectly for me
I don't see any reason to try another carto right now
These things work so great!
