My Ego-T Tank is leaking

My filter is leaking how do I fix this?

Press down harder so that it is seated or slow down and don't chain vape because VG thins out then hot . Other than that I guess buy new cartridges if the hole is too big now . You didn't say much so I am just guessing .

As Bdbodger said press down on it hard. If it still leaks you need to put a new tank in but before putting juice in press it in and spin the tank a couple times to make the hole. Remove the punched plastic and try again.

You can get silicone caps for your tanks. They work a lot better than the plastic ones because they create a seal of sorts around the atty wick needle thingy. I haven't had a lot of leaking problems either way but people who have said that the silicone caps stopped all/most of the leaking.

I have not tried the silicone caps but they sound like a good idea . I have had several type A and type B tanks and I have never had one leak yet so I can only guess at what the problem might be . I have stuck a tank on a needle plate that was taked out of an atomizer . The needle plate did not have a wick in it and it did not leak . You can hold a full tank upside down and unless you shake it it does not leak so you have to guess what will cause a leak . It has to be one of a couple of reasons . The eliquid is too thin either by heat or just being thin in the first place . A bad wick might be an issue if it is too small or maybe pushed down too far but is has be be drawing the eliquid out of the tank somehow . That is why my first guess is always that the tank has not been pushed down far enough and maybe when you draw you are drawing juice out of the hole and not through the wick .

One more guess . I purchased a new atomizer from a different vender and found that the tanks I had where loose on the needle plate spike . I guessed that that atomizer was a knockoff and had a smaller spike than the first atomizer I had used that tank with . Even then though that tank did not leak even though the hole was a bit loose on the spike . So we must ask you . Is the tank you are using only been used on the atomizer you say is leaking ?

I recently loaned one of my ego t's to a friend because her "cheap" e cig quit working after a week of use. The one she was using kept leaking so bad the juice was everywhere. I traded with her so I could try to figure out the problem, but it didn't happen to me. Then the other one she was using started doing it. After reading here I think it only happened to her because she was drawing really really hard on it. Problem solved. But I've also noticed that one atomizer punches a bigger hole so I've ordered cartridges that will be specific to each atomizer I have.

Hope you get your problem fixed. I'm looking into the silicone caps too. Hadn't heard of them being new to vaping. Something else learned from this forum.
